Posted: 18 Oct 2019 12:29 PM PDT So I recently started playing the campaign of Anno 1800 and I reached the point where it led me to expand my operation to include Iron. I felt like the whole Iron>Furnace>Beams/Gun production took up so many of my workers workforce that I had to expand my city to increase both the population of workers and farmers to make room for more upgrades. Now I'm in a situation where I'm lowish on total cash and my balance is now bouncing back and forth from about +300 to -250ish over and over. My farmers and workers are fine happiness from what I looked at. I think I have decently optimized production of basic needs, at least I don't have too much surplus, and I tried to make the luxuries as good I as could. Any idea what is causing my erratic balance? Couple other questions: Is Iron/gun production too expensive to jump into so quick? I went with a whole set of optimized buildings for what I could build from one Iron mine(1 mine, 2 charcoal, 2 furnace, 2 beams, 2 guns) is that too much too soon? What are your thoughts on building your city wide vs tall? Do you only expand residences once you've gotten one set of the populations entire needs/luxuries taken care of? Is it best to expand early to a new Island for different types of population? I have been having some issues keeping a balance of farmers vs workers on my Island to keep meeting the demands of the various production facilities. Would it be easier if I just moved most of the farmers off the main Island? Thanks and sorry for all the questions lol. [link] [comments] | ||

And i'm afraid they will lose that too. Can i take control over them for a short time, to build some defensive cannons or somthing like that? [link] [comments] |
