Any downside to building a commuter pier and upping the production by 50% on an empty island?

    Posted: 21 Oct 2019 03:06 AM PDT

    Anybody doing that?

It doesnt seem to affect happiness since I have zero houses on that island and I just need many police and fire stations. Opinions?

Crops/Mines/Etc become so fixated on delivering output to a certain factory they will halt production until there is room.

Crops/Mines/Etc become so fixated on delivering output to a certain factory they will halt production until there is room.

I've noticed this recently, crops and mines etc will halt their production and wait for the factory they have fixated on to become ready for delivery rather than delivering the excess output to a warehouse.

    Screenshot attached.

If I pause the factory and force the mine to deliver to the warehouse, my production sits here:

I noticed this happening with one of my potato farms and a Schnapps Distillery the other day. The farm runs at 300%, the Distillery runs at 100%. The farm would spent most the time with its production halted until the distillery was ready, despite the fact the distilleries right next to it were empty waiting for potatoes and my stock of them in the warehouses was zero. I managed to fix it by rearranging the distilleries and the farm with a warehouse in between, however with the Zinc example above, I put a warehouse right in between the smeltery and the mine and it still halts production waiting for the smeltery.

Expeditions not queueing up if you have an active expedition

    Posted: 21 Oct 2019 11:20 AM PDT

Are other people experiencing this? In order to get new expeditions, you have to finish all ongoing expeditions, then wait for your expedition queue to fill. This creates the negative experience of waiting until you hit max expedition offerings, then doing them all at once. If I have a single expedition out, I will not get offered any more until that expedition has returned.

Expected behavior: Expeditions should queue up even if there is an active expedition. The timer should tick independently of active expeditions

Steps to reproduce: Have an active expedition. No new expeditions will be offered until it is complete.

Bonus bug: The icons for completed expeditions will still appear on the world map until the last expedition is finished.

The video session, with an upgrade into Investors, without the New World, showed in my last screenshot, is up. This is part three the ongoing journey. Enjoy ;)

    Does happiness affect tax income?

    Posted: 21 Oct 2019 03:33 AM PDT

As far as I know, tax return depends on two things:

    - amount of people who live in a house

    - which goods they consume/are being supplied with

Lets assume I crank up the productivity for artisans in multiple factories. Does this affect anything else besides fewer festivals and a higher chance of riot? The amount of people in a house is tied to the supplied goods so it shouldnt affect income, right?

I have read the exact opposite of this sometime on this subreddit so I am confused.

Thanks for an explanation : )

Does Ubisoft own the rights to the 1602/1503 music?

    Posted: 20 Oct 2019 06:50 PM PDT

This came to mind when the orchestra sheet music items. There are no songs for 1602 or 1503.

I find it odd, both games had their fair share of very catchy and original songs, but they aren't referenced to in any game outside of their own.

Thoughts? Does Ubisoft not own the rights to reuse them?
