Can I change the top display bar to display other materials like I did in Anno 1404? - For example - I don't need to see the wood. I would rather see bread, rum or something else In Anno 1404 was that possible...

How this coal/iron = oil calculation work?

    Posted: 04 Apr 2020 10:45 AM PDT

https://anno1800.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Trade_Union_items Jorg van Malching provide 70% productivity to mines and produce oil every cycle.

    I read this comment:

"Jorg van Malching - Rated 8/10 - VERY underrated legendary. Sure, he only works for mine and you can usually only find a couple of spots where there are 2 or more mines in range. HOWEVER, using him on ONE 15 second mine (coal or iron) equals enough oil for a powerstation, almost 2 powerstations. Using him on 2 coal or iron mines equals 3 Powerstations! No fuss with supply chains, setting up trade routes etc. Very usefull for those mining islands. Also, he gives gold. What more do you want? Not game changing but so damm usefull. Combine with First Rate Sapper and Simmons Electrifying Elevator for 410% productivity for the old world, or First Rate Sapper and Michaela the Mining Engineer for 370% production but no workforce for the new world."

How does this work? both oil and iron/coal are 0:15. if it's just the specialist, then it means 1 iron = 1.7 oil. Oil plant burns 12 oil per minute, each oil well produce 4 per minute, 3 oil wells are needed for each oil power plant. Since 1 iron with Jorg = 1.7 oil well, how does it come to conclusion that 1 iron can power almost 2 power plants, equivalent to around 5 oils?

suppose the poster was talking about total prodctivity within the trade union (combining wiht other specialist/items), to get to 410%, is still only 4.1 oil well. using on two equals 8.2 which isnt enough for 3 power plants, which should require 9 oil wells.

    Posted: 04 Apr 2020 08:19 AM PDT

Does anyone have any idea how to get the second season pass on steam? I can't find the link and I always have trouble navigating steam and I didn't see it under the DLC link. Thanks!

Just downloaded the latest version today and the game won't run. It crashes right after the epilepsy warnings. It was running just fine before that ofc.

Are NPCs affected by the economy?

    Posted: 03 Apr 2020 05:22 PM PDT

For example, if I cut off an enemy's trade between islands, will their citizens riot if their needs aren't met (due to lack of resources)?

I ask because it really seems like they are completely unaffected by everything in the game...

Will I be able to use newly purchased DLC in a game I've already started?

    Posted: 03 Apr 2020 04:59 PM PDT

I own the year one season pass for Anno 1800, and I plan on purchasing the year two season pass. I've noticed that when creating a new game any DLC you disable cannot be reenabled for that game. Does this mean that I'll have to create a new game to be able to access any new DLC that I purchase?

Should I purchase Anno 1800 now or wait?

    Posted: 03 Apr 2020 04:40 PM PDT

The Uplay store has the standard edition for $30 and I can also use a 20% promo code for using 100 Club points.

Is this a good deal or should I wait for a better deal?
