    I have an escort quest, but the button to click to find the ship that needs protecting is blank. This and many others keeps happening over and over again causing me to lose reputation. Could you take the time to fix this once and for all?

    AI behaviors that could be improved

    Specifically, if you place a fleet on the path of a 'trade convoy' fleet from the AI, made of commerce ships and at least one escort ship, then the following will ensue:

    ​

    1. The escort, if not strong enough to beat your fleet, will turn back. Thanks escort!
    2. The merchant vessels won't alter course.

    On several occasion, I saw an AI clipper head straight, totally oblivious to the full combat fleet crossing its future T. I saw also the escort turn back. It means the AI correctly perceived the threat but had an inappropriate behavior.

    It's to the point that you can even see AI merchant vessels in an harbor take the sea and heading directly into your combat fleet, if this was their planned course.

    Then there is also the fact the AI is only capable of using trade vessels between 2 islands through the most direct path. I have seen numerous clippers run the gauntlet between 2 of my islands instead of taking the longest route.

    I believe the AI can be improved here.

    Anno purchases through Epic

    I originally bought Anno 1800 through Steam as well as the season 1 pass however when I check Steam it says that it no longer sells anything to do with Anno 1800. How can I get season 2 to work if I have to buy it through the Epic Store? Will it just work all work through Uplay? God I hate having all of these launchers.

    Uplay wants me to re-download the game

    I bought and downloaded the game from Epic Games because it was very cheap. When I try to open the game, uplay downloads the game again!
    I tried to verify the game files but it didn't help. It says "failed to validate the game files."
    Do you know any solution for this :(
