    As much as I love this excellent game, I'm still baffled why anyone thought at the great Blue Byte team that putting ugly dark grass under the decorative elements is a good idea. Like placing trees at a riverbank makes it look jagged and awful

    Luckily you can use excellent mods to fix it, but still. I almost forgot how ugly it looks like.

    Anno 1404 - Lord Ludwig the Absent..

    Hey, I've been looking for Ludwig the crazed for ages and he is nowhere to be found :(

    It's really frustrating. He is the last thing I need for the gold ship and I'm running out of ideas on how to get him. I have 400 hours in the game, built countless cathedrals, refreshed Northburg's items thousands and thousands of time, completed way too many extensive quests for the emperor, Lucius, Constanza and Barnabas..

    The road to the gold ship was a lot of fun until this roadblock.

    I did 2 30+ hours game with Barnabas,Lucius and Constanza, doing all their quests, refreshing Northburg's items every 5 minutes and I can't take it anymore.. Last thing I tried was saving my game once Lucius offered me the God's Will quest, and reloading to change the reward. I quickloaded that save file way too many times. Kept myself from getting bored to death by collecting data on the rewards.. so here is some useless data if you want: https://imgur.com/WcQZaQI

    Not even sure if that quest gives that item as a reward. In the xml file it says the reward link is 500803. But I can't find any item list with that ID. Where can I find the list?

    Anyway just needed to vent and ask for some other ideas on how to get that guy.

    Scepter of Capon causing crash

    I have reassembled the scepter and all I have left is to put it in a museum. However, every time I attempt to do so the sound cuts out and the game crashes a few seconds later. I have tried switching dx12 to 11 and deleting and creating a new museum. Please help.

    Question about items that alter visitor pool

    For items that change the visitor pool like Mm. Elise "The Nose" does city attractiveness matter? So could I put her on an island with little to no attractiveness and have legendary visitors appear at the public mooring?

    [Anno 16 HE] Has anyone tried the multiplayer mode? Looking for impressions/experience

    Given that the old game still runs fine on modern computers, before even considering to buy the history edition of Anno 1602, I'm curious to hear about your experience with its multiplayer mode. How is it, especially the desync-recovery? Do I need friends on ubisoft to play with or is there any online lobby-like system, or even matchmaking?
