Posted: 22 Sep 2020 01:38 PM PDT I used to play Anno 2070 when I was a kid (as a pirate in the third world, I'm sorry, I'm not anymore). Now as an adult I bought it in its Complete Edition for me and my girlfriend and we enjoyed it a lot. Playing together feels different, even when my gameplay style remains the same. I have known Anno 1800 since its announcement, and fall in love of it. I usually wait for a game until it's heavily discounted (again, LATAM), but this time... Since we were having a really good time playing Anno 2070, I though it would be a good idea to do an exception. Also it has a discount right now! I bought 2 copies of the Complete Edition, and... come on, the game is amazing! I love every detail I find. And yes, she loves it too. We spend many, MANY hours on this. So, I just wanted to say thanks. Many thanks, Anno team... As a developer, I can see the love in this game. Logistics problem with farms and warehouses. Posted: 23 Sep 2020 10:03 AM PDT I am facing a problem with farms and warehouses. In the example in the photo, there are 7 farms with a production of 125% each. The problem is that the warehouse with 2 upgrades cannot handle all of them. I built another warehouse nearby and the farms do not deliver the cargo there. I don't even have the tractors yet! How can I solve this problem? How dense do you make your settlements? Posted: 22 Sep 2020 04:24 PM PDT Sorry in advance if this is a really noob question. I'm diving into Anno for the first time and I'm still kind of... curious what the norm is for residential layouts and such. My logical first response was to cram as much into as small an area as possible, but... the more I play, the more I'm beginning to think that the game is designed to have things spread out more. Specifically the fact that fires break out every few minutes in packed areas, and there's an extensive decorations tab that finds little use if there's no free space. Some ideas I've jotted down from screenshots I've seen of the game: In-game so far I tried the condensed version on the left where fires are almost as frequent as in real-life California, and the spaced out version on the right where fire risk was \"low\" and also allowed for lots of extra deco and trees. Should I pick up Season 2? Posted: 22 Sep 2020 12:58 PM PDT So Anno 1800 is on sale right now, & I was planning on picking up the base game & Season 1, since they're both heavily discounted. However, I'm on the fence about Season 2, since it's discounted only a little.
