    Stuck on "Initializing Download"

    I recently bought Anno 1800 on Epic, & after a less-than-user-friendly experience, it was fully downloaded. Started it up, & Uplay started downloading 7 gb of patches. Fair enough. About 2.6 gb in, I clicked on the "View Game Details" button right next to the download bar. Uplay just closed down, with nothing replacing it. Now, whenever I start the game, it just opens the Uplay launcher saying "Initializing Download," but nothing happens. Any ideas what to do? I just want to play.

    A) Going from difficulty level 1 (easiest) to 4 (hardest) What does every level add/remove?

    B) Which difficulty level adds pirate settlements?

    C) Which difficulty level makes iron mines finite?

    Mods for anno 1800

    I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm not good when it comes to mods and general PC stuff. Am I allowed to mod the game? Or can you lose the game licence or anything like that incase you get "caught". Since it's changing how the game plays out etc.

    My game is on UPLAY if that matters.

    So, what to do after World's Fair

    Hello people. I'm also an addicted to this game and after 100 hours playing my second scenario, I'm already filled with investors, contructed the world's fair and......don't know what to do next.

    So, this is it for the game? You build a complex of cities and islands and grow them until a certain point that there's nothing else to do but create a new game? Or there's something else? I really did not wanted to buy any DLC's lol.
