Please, someone explain this statistics to me.

Hi. I still cannot understand the logic behind this:

    Production statistics

This is from a quick game just to show you my question. How can I make sense of this? I built 1 wood production and 1 timber production and I think 7-8 residences.

Now, I am supposed to look under the production statistics screen to find out whether I need to make more wood and timber or not. I can understand that the production of wood and of timber is 4 per minute.

But where does the demand logic come from? Why is the demand also 4 for wood?

    Zinc, coal and iron production

    Posted: 18 Mar 2021 03:19 AM PDT

My zinc production on another island is really slow but I don't know why. I have sufficient workforce, the warehouses are near the mines and upgraded to second tier. I'm currently transporting 70 units of zinc to my main island for spectacle production and the production is not keeping up well.

Coal is getting depleted REAL fast because I have put down a powerplant that ranges to my 2 steelbeam works and 3 of those that make the steel itself. Its currently on -13 a minute and I don't know what to do. Do I delete some of the steelworks, does the powerplant affect the charcoal kiln and/or iron mines?

    Any help would be appreciated!

my little contribution to the Anno World ...

I lost Crown Falls without completing any of the quests from the Queen, is it possible to get the quests again?

    Posted: 18 Mar 2021 09:54 AM PDT

So I'm a returning player who hasn't played since around release. I've been getting back into the game lately and I've been checking out some of the DLCs. Recently I discovered Cape Trelawney and figured I might as well just settle on the big island. That gave me some quest(s?) from the queen, but I was busy with my main island and just decided to ignore that map for the time being. I ended up going to war and lost Crown Falls because I wasn't paying attention. Now that I've won the war I resettled on Crown Falls, but I'm not getting the quest again.

I also checked the wiki to see how diving was supposed to work, and apparently I'm supposed to get a ship from Old Nate? I don't know if it's connected to losing Crown Falls, but I've bought stuff from him and never been given the option to buy that ship from him.

My attempts at googling only found people saying to reload a previous save, but I've been playing for maaaany hours since losing the island so I'm not going to do that. Am I just out of luck and unable to do the quest or get the ship, or is there some other milestone I need to reach for the island first?

    Weird performance issues

    Posted: 18 Mar 2021 09:45 AM PDT

    Hi Friends,

I bought Anno 1800 yesterday, it's been a lot of fun already but I am struggling with the games performance. When I start the game it's running fine, anywhere between 80 and 120 fps with the cam on cities but the longer the play session goes on the more severe the performance issues become, after 4 hours of playing I only have around 25 to 40 fps left. When I restart my PC it recovers back to the acceptable high fps numbers for a few hours. Is this a known problem with the game?

I own all DLCs and my PC specs are: i7 7700K, GTX 1080Ti, 16GB RAM, Game is installed on an SSD

The graphics card driver is up to date and I bought it and play it directly from Uplay.

It's a shame because the game is overall very enjoyable, my last Anno was 1404.

Any tips or ideas greatly appreciated :)

Bug Report for Anno 1800 DLC.

    Posted: 18 Mar 2021 09:38 AM PDT

The trelawny campaign dlc, I just completed building the world fair on the island but the queens ship already left and already gifted me the extravaganza ship as I had built the world fair on the starter island and it completed that part of the quest. Anyway as the queens ship was not there it took over one of my ships and all my items I put on it. It is now in the process of sailing away as I don't seem to own it anymore. Annoying bug but not a total lose.

Any way to do these things in game?

    Posted: 18 Mar 2021 08:46 AM PDT

Can you move multiple tiles in game / select multiple tiles, museum tiles move them to different location or investor houses move them slightly to the right to fit rail lines?

Also how can you tell which is the front of some buildings, to make everything neat and tidy, can't tell which is front or back of some.

    A Small Anecdote.

    Posted: 17 Mar 2021 09:55 PM PDT

I wanted to share a funny little story that just happened to me in game in 1800.
I had just added a bunch of engineers to Crown Falls and noticed I overshot my consumer goods by a wide margin. I had some space next to my industrial power plant and decided to move some sewing machine factories down into that space, but didn't want to commit to a full re-arrange. Plopped two down and checked the Production Stats. Way too much for what I need. So I smashed a couple on the other side of the island and clicked a third. I hit "pause" on the factory and quickly Ctrl+Q my way into the stats screen. While I'm looking at the production amount the Artisan from the factory quips, "Pause for thought?". Turns out I don't need that factory after all. Escape out of the screen and click the thing by accident before I smash it to bits. Just as the crunch of the destroy tool fades away the Artisan quips "How Spontaneous!"

Views of my Capital (so far) City Population: 174,000 (all investors) Now I just need to wait for skyscrapers to further increase the population. Aiming for a total population of 1,000,000 over all my islands.
