Rebuilding parts of the island? Posted: 19 Sep 2019 12:20 PM PDT When I started the game, I was basically playing a game of whack-a-mole, chasing deficiencies in supply chains, and not really trying to make a sensible layout of the main island. I always had the intention if just rebuilding it once I got things going. But now I developed an emotional attachment to the beautiful mess I made and feel bad messing with it. Anyone else gets blues when it's time to get the wrecking ball? [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Sep 2019 01:22 PM PDT So I took a stab at datamining the Diving Quest Map reward pools. Some preliminary info before we get to the reward pools:
Artifacts MapsMap of Ancient RuinsThis map marks the lost ruins of a small village in the Old World.
Map of a Remote Trading PostThis map signals the location of an ancient trading post in the New World.
Map of a Forgotten WreckThis map will lead you to the remains of an abandoned ship near Cape Trelawney.
Map of a Lost TempleThe people who built this temple couldn't have foreseen the catastrophe that drove their place of worship to the bottom of the sea.
Map of an Underwater PyramidNo one knows who built this pyramid, or how it sank to the bottom of the ocean.
Map of a Sunken CityThis map reveals the place where a thriving city once stood, now resting below the surface.
The Palaces of BaieaThe pleasure palaces of Baiea were pulled under the sea, along with their owners' luxuries and excesses.
The Gates to PaititiThis map seems to signal the entrance to the legendary lost city of Paititi, but nobody has yet been able to find it...!
The Herdsman's JournalA cartographer and linguist studied this ancient manuscript to produce a map to the legendary city of Atlantis.
Animals MapsMap of a Kelp ForestThis map will lead you to uncover the rare species tangled in the kelp forest.
Map of a Seagrass MeadowThe rich fauna of the seagrass meadow awaits you where the X marks the spot.
Map of a Coral GardenThis map will lead you to a coral garden and all the different species that thrive in it.
Map of an Oceanic TrenchSome of the mysterious species that roam the depths of this oceanic trench haven't yet been discovered.
Map of a Barrier ReefThis map marks one of the richest ecosystems in the planet.
Map of an Abyssal ZoneIt's hard to believe that some of these creatures truly exist, and are not the stuff of dreams — or nightmares.
Jörmungandr's LairIt is hard to believe that this map will lead you to the colossal serpent deity, but the myths must have stemmed from something...
The Nest of GukulmatzCould this really be the place where the Huacan god rests...?
The Kraken's PitMultiple sightings confirm that this may be the best place to capture the legendary Kraken — or be captured by it.
Machines MapsMap of a Domestic SkirmishA map of a big seafight that occurred in home waters recently. Some machines may still be at the bottom of the sea. Map of a Rebel IncursionA map of a big seafight that occurred abroad recently. Some machines may still be at the bottom of the sea. Map of a Trelawney SkirmishA map of a big seafight that occurred at Trelawney recently. Some machines may still be at the bottom of the sea.
Map of a Sunken Royal ClipperA very rare map indicating the shipwreck location of a wealthy merchant ship in home waters. Map of a Sunken Rebel Supply ShipA very rare map indicating the shipwreck location of a wealthy merchant ship in waters abroad. Map of a Sunken La Corona ClipperA very rare map indicating the shipwreck location of a wealthy merchant ship in the waters of Trelawney.
Map of Willie Wibblesock's Wondrous StashA unique map marking the location of Willie's special fortune. If there's anything down there, it will surely be of high value. Map of Isabel Sarmento's Emergency VaultA unique map marking a vault of contingencies for Isabel's rebels. If there's anything down there, it will surely be of high value. Map of Vicente Silva's Sunken Ship-of-the-lineA unique map marked with the wreck of Vicente's favourite ship. If there's anything down there, it will surely be of high value.

Posted: 18 Sep 2019 05:40 PM PDT Hey have any of you fellows had any humourous little happenings on the game? I have two funny stories of my own. The first one I had was when i got the quest you get when enough workers move into your town, my worker man was just givong me a gift so i got to read the little text about how oliver the orphan is all "Please sir can I please not have some more" as he proceeds to habe me a gift of 20 tons of weapons, what in the world was this orphan doing with 20 tons of weapons? I cant even make those yet... either way beware of oliver the orphan arms dealer skulking about your port town. The second story I have is an ongoing joke between my main mate I play Anno with, I'm certain you've heard the worker quote "It's our human right!" They so eagerly blurt out on occasion such as when you build a school or click on a production building. We both found it quite humourous seeing as our first reaction was "Rights? What rights? You're the worker class of thw 1800s you don't have any?!" Its gotten to the point where me and my mate just blurt it out at each other in over happy naive tones and have implemented an emoji of the worker resident in our discord server simply labeled :itsourhumanright: [link] [comments]

Free uplay+ and Anno 1800 DLC. Posted: 19 Sep 2019 04:07 AM PDT I read through some posts, but I am still confused. I bought the game from 3rd party seller in August, activated free uplay+ in September and now I learned that I "own" Botanica and Sunken treasures https://i.imgur.com/lq5U5Li.png https://i.imgur.com/S43s7fP.png Do I get to keep these DLCs even after my free uplay+ month expires? (I will not be renewing it) If so, what should I do to use them in the game? I clicked thru menu, but couldnt find anything. Thank you. [link] [comments]
