Self moving ships after Botanica Update

Hi, i got a question. Since the botanica update my ships start moving spontaneously in my harbors. Does anybody else got this bug?

I'm deleting my empire to start a new one. Bigger, better, prettier than all the lasses in the new world. I thought this might inspire people to be meticulous when they're detailing or to advice me on how to improve. Enjoy! Link in comments for more.

Are quests like Moving Mountains unique to compaign? (1800)

Is the quest to clear the mountain dibrees to access iron mines in compaign unique to compaign, or do similar quests also pop-up in sandbox mode?

    The most important setting.

    Posted: 19 Sep 2019 11:18 PM PDT

So with the latest bug fix, I have too many boats and the idea of going through them all and finding and deleting the ~300 I didn't make ... it's too much. Besides. I have come to the realisation that I made a couple of critical mistakes right at the start. So I am starting a new game, again .. sigh .. and I thought I would share my thought process for setting up the perfect game. Mb, hopefully? there will be something I have missed, got wrong, ... something ... so I don't look at my game in a few hundred hours thinking if only I had ...

    1. Picking AI. Obviously you aren't going to pick the 3* AI. Once you become proficient enough to not get rolled by them in the early game, you are proficient enough to roll them in the early game. And this is exactly what you will end up doing. You aren't going to keep around someone that is going to be constantly at war with you, when, within a relatively short space of time they are going to start torpedoing your trade ships. And so you will be left with less AI to make the world feel a little more alive and to trade with. (Shopping at AI trading posts gets you out of so many temporary supply issues. It is very handy during late game expansion). So the decision becomes who do I like? All the 1 and 2 * AI will make lasting peace. I guess it is personal preference.
    2. Quest Frequency. This is the most important thing imo. 2 of the most powerful and important late-game items come from quest rewards. The Miraculous Steel Plough (+50% prod, -50% workforce) is from farmer quests, and Elise "The Nose" (unique specialists may visit your city) is from Obreros quests. Setting quest frequency to anything but the most common is just gimping your odds of gaining these items. It serves no other game function, save increased frustration.
    3. Island size. Homeworld you want large, because you are going to need a massive cultural area to properly set up your legendary specialist machine. If you are going to abandon the OW for the Cape, I guess that it doesn't matter that much, but I like the OW.

Well, those are the 3 big mistakes I made setting up my last game. The only other thing I will be changing is to set island difficulty to hard. I think this means more rivers and cliffs. I like rivers and cliffs. They are only really a pain in the very early game. Late game they help make interesting cities, and bridges are purdy.
