I get overwhelmed reaching tier 3
Thought I lost the save with my first Worlds Fair.
Finally finished building my first World Fair. :) Looks great on the horizon of Kingsbridge!

I bought the game (anno 1800) 2 weeks ago and i really love it.

The first 2 tiers are pretty easy, i now am able to stay stable financially, using the neutral factions to sell goods and not overproducing stuff.

My real problem is when i reach tier 3.

As soon as i upgrade a worker into the next level, i am overwhelmed with notifications. I feel i have no time to build and i don't know what's the most important. I have a quest to find the new world and colonize it, a quest to find the queen and then colonize the trelawney and find treasures while still keeping the old world running, complete quests, expeditions and make a ton of trade routes between my islands.

I feel that the game has a strong change of pace all the sudden and i really don't know where to prioritize. I often end up being so unorganized that i just restart trying to go slower and ignoring stuff.

Currently, i'm starting a new game and my goal is to completely ignore trelawney and the expeditions until i reach a stable tier 4. Is this the way to go ?

Thought I lost the save with my first Worlds Fair.

Today I achieved the Worlds fair for the first time. However, after a few exhibitions I realized I was running late for a gender reveal party. When I left I must have forgotten to pause the game and came back to a newspaper heading "War declared on us"

My arrogant ass thought haha Bring It

It was too late. Every single trade route had been demolished. I was making 75k before I left and now I was losing money. All my populations were in the red.

Apparently both pirates had declared war on me.

I promise I thought all was lost. I went back to the main screen and clicked on my save file "Packo Klogacko" and it reloaded right at the same spot. I went back again out of frustration and only then did I see the save files tab beneath the banner. Please I pray have the auto saves. How I rejoiced when not only were they there but they went back for ages. The game had continued for 6hrs without me. I literally just calculated when I left and loaded up a save right about then. Perfection my exhibition was finished and it was a 600.

I can't tell you how many times in my life I have lost an ever so important save file. Thank you to the developers for not being stingy on the storage space. I don't think I could have recovered from the disastrous war that occurred in my absence.

It was a boy by the way.
