Finally some Coffee in Enbesa. Nice Arabica beans from the place they originated from. Now your Investors can enjoy roasted coffee beans in nice linen sacks exported from the heart of the world! Tobacco can be planted as well, because it fits the region quite good.

Just a shame most "online" features are blocked now for whatever reason.

How long does it take for my workers to continue their work on the skyline tower after their barbecue party? It feels like they've been partying for hours now ...

Struggling to get needs and finances under control

    Posted: 03 Oct 2021 09:09 AM PDT

I've been playing up to artisan tier, but all this time I am constantly struggling for my cash to not go negative. Usually what happens is this: I satisfy all needs and everything seems to tick along decently for a while. Then at some point, some need like soap or beer drops to an alarming 98% as I carefully expand, which then seems to immediately crash my cash flow into the negative with bizarre speed. It then takes at least 20 minutes for everything to recover by which I've already bled a lot of money.

Is there a definitive guide somewhere on how you should build your supply chains in terms of figuring out how much you need, optimal placement etc? Because I feel like the game does a pretty bad job at telling you what the problem is, it seems I have to constantly cycle through population tiers and re-check their needs to see if anything might be just slightly dropping from the full 100% which apparently is enough to completely blow up my finances. Or maybe I am doing something else wrong in which case I'd be happy to get any advice.

As someone who played previous Anno games, I also find it odd that this game did away with upgrading non-residential buildings, so maybe because of that I am simply building too little of everything?

    Project Distinction no longer working

    Posted: 03 Oct 2021 02:18 AM PDT

I have seen this is no longer working and I know the author went MIA a very long time ago, I would love to be able to fix this, alas I have no skills at all in modding. Would anyone know if it is something that is easily fixable or it really has gone to pasture?

    Anno 1800

Can anyone tell me if an AI will sell me supplies I need even if their port indicates they are not offering or requesting anything? If not, is there a way to have AI sell me things I do need?

    Anno DLCs

    Posted: 03 Oct 2021 05:10 AM PDT

I am considering buying alle the anno dlcs but they are kind of expensive. Are there some ways to buy them all in a package that might be less expensive because right now as it is buying season pass 1-3 costs me more money than the game itself did.

    Typewriters and Lacquer

    Posted: 02 Oct 2021 12:46 PM PDT

Do you remember the old bug ("mechanic feature") where for example Light Bulb factories would not fuction properly when the Filament Factories were too close? The carts from LB wanted to get the resource directly from the FF, but not all FFs were close enough, yet the LB carts didn't want to get the resource from the Warehouse. The solution was to move the FFs farther away from the LBs and thus force the usage of the Warehouse carts.

That trick doesn't seem to work for Typewriters and Lacquer. On paper I overproduce Typewriters by 12 (compared with the consumtion), but still my population of Investors keeps fluctuating, because they don't have enough Typewriters.

On the Chemical Plant/Assembly Line island I overproduce the Lacquer by 20 and the two types of factories are on the distant ends of the island. It still doesn't work. The productivity of Typewriters keeps jumping from half to almost max, they refuse to take the Lacquer from the Warehouse half of the time. I have to admit this is rather irritating.

    Downgrade Buildings?

    Posted: 02 Oct 2021 04:23 PM PDT

Well, put simply i figured my crown falls city would look better with artisans in the front, engineers to the side and investors in the back instead of investors front, engineers mid/ side and artisans back, but i dont have the time to click on EVERY building and click up/downgrade a dozen times... is there some way to do this better? mod/script/hotkey.... literally anything... i am going nuts here.. help

EDIT: Thanks u/Takarazuka012, get upgrade tool active and press alt for drag and drop downgrade and shift alt for massdowngrade!
