Anno-seed, a small tool to retrieve the seed from a save file Posted: 16 Oct 2021 12:14 AM PDT I saw a thread today that asked how to retrieve the seed of an existing game. This small tool will print it to the command line. Happy seed hunting! [link] [comments]

See radius of existing Bar, Cafe, Restaurant, Shopping mals etc when building Posted: 16 Oct 2021 03:34 AM PDT Hi everyone, I'm not sure if I'm too stupid or this function really doesn't exist. When building for example a cafe I want to see the radii of all the previously already built cafe, just like with trade unions. I know radii can overlap but I still want to build as efficiently as possible. I also tried copying an existing bar when already selected an recipe but no look. Any ideas? [link] [comments]
What do you need to play Anno 1800 on Ultra Quality? Posted: 16 Oct 2021 02:22 AM PDT So I've waited to play this game until I got a decent PC since I've heard it can be very demanding. Now that I have a good setup, I still can't really play it on Ultra Quality without some small lag/delay. It's not the end of the world, but there's a very noticeable 0.5 sec delay or sluggishness in response to almost everything: building houses, opening menus, moving copied housing blocks, etc. Dropping down the quality obviously fixes that and everything is snappy and quick. Is this to be expected, or I may have missed some settings that could improve the performance? I've read people making some adjustments here and there but not sure what I can actually do here. I Want to Make Tobacco Use Ubiquitous, But I'm Not Sure How to Do It. Any Ideas? Posted: 16 Oct 2021 06:54 AM PDT In this mod I'm creating, the artisans and engineers immediately want tobacco and clay pipes, which gives you a strong incentive to go to the New World as fast as possible. In the first version of my mod, the farmers and workers immediately wanted tobacco. That obviously didn't work, so I raised the need to 500 farmers and workers until the tobacco need was triggered. The problem with this is that 500 isn't really that many and it sneaks up on you. I raised it to 1000 farmers, but that kind of snuck up on me too. I suppose I could just keep it at 1000 farmers and workers and just upgrade so the need isn't triggered. The bad thing is when they get their tobacco and then there are shortages, the economy plummets. How do you think it should be done? [link] [comments]

How to run Anno 1800 on Ubuntu Posted: 15 Oct 2021 04:55 PM PDT I try to run the ubisoft connect version of Anno 1800 with Lutris on my Ubuntu 20.04 System. I've installed Ubisoft Connect successfully with the predefined lutris script and installed anno inside ubisoft connect. When I start Anno I got an error: "Failed to setup the swap chain. Error code: 1207". Lutris has this runner configuration: WIne version: lutris-fshack-6.14-4-x86_64 DXVK/VKD3D is enabled DXVK version: v1.9.2L-3e64e1b Esync is enabled everything else is disabled I've also tried to add the UbisofConnect.exe and the Anno1800.exe in Steam and run it with proton 6.3-7 but both exes directly quit after start without any error message. Does anyone know how to run the ubisoft connect version of Anno 1800 on Linux? Please give detailed instructions. How to Mod a Zeppelin in to Anno 1800? Posted: 15 Oct 2021 06:01 PM PDT I would like to make a mod to add a zeppelin airship, not sure where to get started. It would be like a Great Eastern but flying. Also don't want to replace current airship. [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Oct 2021 03:18 PM PDT Is it possible to satisfy any need by 100% through a combination of Propaganda, Palace Policies, Food & Drink venues, and Shopping Arcades? When the palace policy 'Late licence act' is active, even if you don't have any drinks in storage, drink needs don't drop below 20%. Propaganda doesn't seem to function the same way. With the -30% and -20% active (which ends up giving you -57% with the influence bonus), needs will still drop to 0% fulfilled if storage is empty. Then which way do the Shopping Arcades and Food & Drink Venues function? [link] [comments] |
