Honestly, the biggest game changer for this series would be diagonal streets.

I know we aren't on the way to the next title...but across the board this is one of the best in the genre...I just think it needs to ascend the hard grid system. I know that means new models for buildings that fit diagonally or just a 45 degree angle choice + a few corner pieces.

Because as long as this game sticks to the hard grid it will continue to feel dated.

Anno 1800: Some game improvements' Ideas ?

    Posted: 29 Oct 2021 09:52 AM PDT

So one thing that I realized in 1800, is that it's ... Kinda boring after a while and not as strategic as expected. AI players, aside from war, is basically useless. Each Company/Faction hast to go through the exact same production processes. i.e. there is no specializations or actual trading between parties.
    Everyone produces the same stuff.
Instead, it would have been better if there was a certain degree of specialization. Where one player wont be able to produce certain goods, due to geography, technology, lack of needed resources or expensive production costs.

I think an idea of existing markets where the population has *certain* needs that need to be fulfilled like in (Rise of Industry) would add a really good layer to the game.

Also some protectionism and free trade policies would be really good. (Maybe having countries, instead of companies, with certain land sizes, resources and geographical limitations ?)

    Posted: 28 Oct 2021 07:44 PM PDT

Hi everyone, first post, im becoming an enthusiast for Anno 1800 lately.

Wondering, do Anno 1800 Year 3 Complete Edition includes past, current, and future DLCs?

I see it includes past seasons 1,2 and Deluxe, as well as season 3, but im wondering, it includes for the future as well?

    Thanks on your time
