Posted: 18 Dec 2021 04:52 PM PST Hello everyone, I'm new to the saga of Anno and appeared to me the opportunity to acquire one of the games in the franchise, I already liked long-standing the proposal of the games and accompanied some gameplay, but we know that in this type of game, playing is a completely different experience. I really liked Anno 1800, who doesn't? It's fantastic the graphics, the progression to the industrial era, different social classes that play unique dads to the end, the new world and the "Belle Epoque", and Anno 2070 although it is an older game I am delighted with the theme of the future due to environmental catastrophe and avoid a new, the thing of the factions and explore seabed. As said I found a promotion in which the two is basically the same price, HOWEVER I get only the standard edition for 1800, already for 2070 the full edition So, knowing that I'm not going to buy any dlc for 1800 in the future, which of the two games do you think I can have a greater use, in order to discover various mechanics, play several times without losing spirit? If you set a ship to load say 100 of something, but in a single of its good slot, it will only load 50 at most and won't use more than one slot for loading. I have checked that with 2 ships, one set to load 100 rum the other 100 coal, and they don't go past 50 each, because the order is for a single ship slot. Normal or not? [link] [comments] | ||

My friend lives across the country and I want to give this game to them as a Christmas gift, but everywhere I go, I'm turned away. Ubisoft store appears to force all purchased items to be forever tied to the account where the purchase was made. Epic Games Store appears to be the same thing, no option to purchase anything for other people. Steam has a warning that the game cannot be purchased from them at all. Retail stores (like Amazon, etc) do not have the game at all. They do seem to have DLC though. Online key resellers (like Green Man Gaming) have a warning that the purchase will be forever associated with your Ubisoft account. So, am I missing something? | Posted: 18 Dec 2021 11:19 AM PST Hi, I managed to complete the scenario with silver on first try, but I failed to get gold like 3 times now and beginning to be desperate for advice. So far I have almost all permanent items and I believe I have a good idea how to start. Environment is not a problem, that's easy to solve. The biggest challenge for me is keeping the people supplied while building the dam. It just needs so much workforce. If I try to start early I dont have enough people, because I dont have enough materials to supply them yet. Another limiting factor for me seems to be only 2 iron mines as I fail to keep steady tools and beams production. Also keeping up with the fish demand seems hard, I make a lot of aquafarms with silos and still running low. The time limit is really very harsh. Are there any general tips what I might be doing wrong ? Is there something you can get from the fisherman/ruins on your island (so far these seem to only add story flavor) ? Most of the other small islands seem useless, except for few with ruins/things to salvage, is that right ? When you delete limited building (forester) will it return to your pool so you can make new one ? [link] [comments] | ||

The first time I downloaded and installed Anno 1404 on the second laptop, it had synced my profile and games. Now it is not. Very frustrating. Posted: 18 Dec 2021 07:44 AM PST So I am in late game and I have a huge city in Crownfalls which I supply with dockyard and trade routes the problem is I am getting only 15 - 20 fps overall (kinda same in other areas) and mouse acts weirdly ui textures sometimes load lately. I know in anno fps do not matter that much and I am ready to settle down for 30fps but less is causing lots of problems its kinda unplayable at the moment. When I look at my graphic card and cpu usage they seem very very low so I dont understand what is the problem here are the things I did so far. Shadows - Medium AntiAlisgn - 4x LightingEffects - Medium Uplay - Offline System: i9 9900k RTX 2080Ti Nvme 500gb SSD 32 GB Ram Drivers: All up to date. Edit: I just made a test and started a new game when I am looking at my dockyard with an empty island I am getting only 25-30 fps in other areas its soild 60fps so there is really a big problem here I remember playing at 30+ fps with full graphic settings when it first came out whats wrong...
