    Just got it on sale. A few hours in and the first thing I notice is how much more challenging it is. The workforce situation is a handful.

    Anno 2070 Remaster wishlist

    With the old games no remastered, I think it's fair to say, that one day we hopefully also get a Anno 2070 Remaster. And while I know, that a Remaster normally doesn't add anything new, I hope that they do. At this point, Anno 2070 is my favorite Anno, right behind Anno 1800. But it still has a charm, that even 1800 didn't match. Any some Features, I really miss (Interconnectivity off your saves via arch).

    So I wanted to share a few things, that I would suggest being changed/added. Please tell me what you think.

    1. Being able to reset your profile I really wish we could completely reset our profiles for a completely new game experience. Maybe a profile system like Anno 1404 would be great.

    2. More ship skins. It has its own tab in the profile settings. But as far as I know, there are only 2 skins. Default and pre-order. I really wish there would be more.

    3. Free Cam. I know there is a mod, but I really want the cam from Anno 1800.

    4. Actual Ai enemies. The Enemy AI in Anno 2070 is imo the worst one of the newer games. It doesn't have its own resource pool like 1404 and it also doesn't build a real city like the Ai in 1800. I Really wish they would overhaul them to be actual ai enemies and not just preset placing placeholder

    5. Integration of A.R.R.C I know this is really unlikely, but I think I speak for the majority when I say that mod is a must have.

    So what do you think?

    Where should I build Palace ?

    I just reached Investors tier and unlocked Palace building. I built one in Crown Fall and found out that it needs attractiveness as point so now I'm about to build it in Bright Sand because this island is tourist only, I have Museum, Botanical and Zoo with mostly epic and legendary items. overall I reached around 3700 attractiveness in this island.

    Should I build Palace on an island with around 200 farmers but with 3700 attractiveness or I should move it to a capital island like Ditchwater or Crown Fall ?

    Setting-wise, 2070 > 1800 ?

    Obviously if you compare all existing Annos i think we have to admit that 1800 is the best one they have done so far especially considering all the content… but for some reason i just cant really fall in love with 1800 no matter how much (good) content they have added and will keep adding… for me 2070 was just soo damn good… I love the "near future" setting but also the idea of being able to choose between those two vastly different factions (Eden/Global Trust) The game is already 10+ years old but still looks so damn good… if you havent played 2070 in a long time go try it, its still so damn good Imagine 4+ seasons of content for that game.

    Would love to hear your guys' input on whats your favorite setting. I guess most people prefer a setting from the past?
