No God, No Master - Hugo Mercier Story Arc Achievement Posted: 30 Sep 2019 07:04 AM PDT I can't figure out what triggers this story arch and my searches haven't lead to much other than to "just wait for it". I am looking to get the No God, No Master achievement by completing Hugo Mercier's main story Arc. I currently have roughly 57,000 investors, level 58 company, and a 356 military rating. Hugo has a level 47 company and ~290 military rating. I started the game with Hugo, Bente, and Carl; I have eliminated all but Hugo. All other NPC's are present (Pirates, Lord Pent up Gas, etc.). I am not certain what triggers this Arc, but looking to understand so that I can complete the achievement. Any help on how to trigger or what to do would be greatly appreciated! DLC question. Anarchist or season pass? Posted: 30 Sep 2019 10:32 AM PDT I got the base game and was wondering if the anarchist and season pass are worth the money? From what I understand there is 1 more DLC that is coming with the season pass but Anarchist is not part of the season pass and it costs $10. Is it worth getting or I should wait until 3rd season pass DLC is out and only buy whichever has the most content? [link] [comments]

Has anyone else had this many issues? Posted: 29 Sep 2019 03:18 PM PDT I bought Anno 1800 last weekend as I thought it would be fun to check out, and I keep seeing how much fun everyone seems to be having. I also figured that I had given it enough time to work out all the bugs... nope I was wrong. What I did not see was the amount of troubleshooting that has come with this game. And I have to say it has been a headache. At this time I have a whopping 7 minutes of total play time! My first series of woes came through Epic game store (this should be no surprise to anyone). As the game was not able to fully download through their platform. It would only down 24gbs and then never update.. thus leading me to black screen launch crashes. Luckily I was able to download the full game though through Uplay (which is not a half bad platform, it's no steam but its certainly miles ahead Epic), and I was able to sucessefully launch the game. However, now I am stuck with the stutters, the game is literally unplayable. Not only is the framerate incredibly low, like 20's in the menu, but the game does not even load certain images at times or certain menu settings are unobtainable. At this time I truly feel like I have tired everything. I have lowered the Settings to the lowest points, I have tired offline mode, DX11/12 switching, lighting settings, view distance settings, driver updates, as well as downloading and reinstalling it multiple times. Everything that I could find, I have tried. I don't think its my Rig, because despite beinga few years old now it still boasts two FuryX's, an Intel i7 6700K, and 16gbs of Ram, all being sent through a custom watercooled loop. Has anyone else had this many issues with the game, and at this point should I just try to get a refund? [link] [comments]
Anno 2205 - Exporting the corporation logos Posted: 29 Sep 2019 01:43 PM PDT Does anyone know if it is possible to export the original images of the corporation logos? Or, perhaps, is there another forum dedicated to modding Anno2205 that might have this information? I want to import them as logos for my Surviving Mars games. I can do it the hard way, with screenshots and manipulating them in Gimp, but this results in a low resolution texture since the largest size I can find in game is only about 100x100 pixels, and the Surviving Mars mod tools don't seem to like anything under 10242 to start with. It's also a lot of work if I want to import more than one, and I was hoping for a more elegant solution. (I'm aware there is a dedicated 2205 sub, but I figure the general Anno sub would catch more people. Both because 2205 was less popular, and because it is an older game that doesn't get as many views.) [link] [comments] |
