    Income question

Are taxes based on population or houses. If I click on a house and at the bottom of the window there is an income value is that per person or per home?

    Black Playing Area

    Black Playing Area

Sometimes when I go to the statistics window, then back to the game, the playing area is all black. I can still click on things and it highlights objects. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. It's not bad, all I do is have to go to the world map or back into the statistic screen again and exit it and it gets fixed. I just find it annoying at times.

The Passage DLC - Quest bugged

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 02:28 PM PST

    Hey all,

I'm trying to complete the passage quest line but i can't progress due to a bug. I'm at the point where the lady asks me to sustain lamp stocks for 1:00, after that i'm supposed to pick up an ice breaker crew from somewhere but it just bugs out and won't point me to a location. Here is the relevant screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/z7f2K5E.jpg

Anyone had this happen to them? I tried reloading to an earlier save but ended up at the same point again...

Edit: Well I found the problem and writing it down if anybody gets stuck in the future. To save a few influence points, I had destroyed the King Williams harbor at one point in the game. I went far back to the point where I did not and was able to proceed. So in short, don't destroy your main island at the arctic before completing the quest line.

Anno 1800: Trade route - ship queuing on multiple piers

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 12:47 PM PST

I have a problem with ships queuing on harbour on the same trade route. Let's say, I have 3 ships and tell them to wait until the full load on the island with 2 piers.

    • 2 ships block the harbour completely and are loaded randomly (some amount goes for 1. and some for 2nd ship)
    • Is there any way to force the ships assigned to the same route to wait until the previous ship is fully loaded and then the 2nd ship can begin with its loading?
    • I have found some kind of workaround through piers/harbour on different sides of the island, ships seem to prefer the shortest route and do not go for the next pier.
    • But is there more general solution, since workaround does not work for heavily frequented islands?

Edit: same issue applies to unload. Reducing of number of ships is not a solution, especially if you want to supply your 50k investors in Crown Falls with the coffee from the new world.

With current implementation I had a problem, that without waiting for unload the first ship made stock full and second went almost fully loaded back to the new world. While they both were traveling, CF run out of coffee. Problem gets even worse if you have more ships on the route. It impossible to force them to frequent in equal time intervals.

    Thanks!
