Idk how this game flew under my radar but its litterally everything I've ever wanted in a game. It's something I'd have expected to release in one of those shitty early access things for all the features it has.

But no. Finally a proper city builder with RTS/RPG elements. With ships no less! It's like playing a total war title except you're actually involved with your cities in real time. Incredible!

Whoever made this. Thank you for this experience

4 Hours of tracking and fixing supply issues and finally all those evil red "missing item" icons are gone. Back in the expansion business, hopefully for another 100k investors. Then it will likely all fall apart again

Secret / Special Quest Found - Easter Egg in Anno 1800

Ok, so just as Anno 1800 launched, I found something which got me thinking. I posted a teaser type post but it didn't get a positive response / I think people took it the wrong way. So I left it for a while :(

So let's just post it and see if anyone can figure this out..
Upon looking around in fps mode, I found this at the Shipyard. It might be a easter egg or something put in the game by mistake? I've tried searching the Ubisoft forums / blogs. In game at all levels. Social media pages and this forum, but have yet to find anything definitive for it, aside from a blog post about a dev which might be linked, (which I can't find at the moment, sorry. Will edit and add the url when/if I do).

So anyway, let's see if someone can figure this out..

    Tucked away..

    On the regular shipyard..

    You will find..

    This message..

    A Special Quest... <insert excitement>..

Would appreciate any input / ideas you might have.

    Good luck,
    Dragonfyr

    Is anno 2070 dead?

    Posted: 27 Aug 2020 06:25 AM PDT

Does anyone managed to make it work again? I had an infinite loading loop and i tried to launch it but I'm greeted with a "please insert key" which I lost with the game manual.

I also checked the reviews on steam. Everyone is angry and having issues.

Btw, it was my first anno game and i wanted to replay it for nostalgia reasons.

Anno 1800 - Unable to send invitation

    Posted: 27 Aug 2020 06:09 AM PDT

Hey, currently my friends and me are facing the problem that we can't invite each other anymore. It always says "Unable to send invitations". Is there a way to fix it? So far we tried

    -Restart -LogIn/LogOut -Turning off firewalls

2 days ago everything was still working.

Help with maintaining a stable economy in Campaign mode (Anno 1800)

    Posted: 26 Aug 2020 08:33 PM PDT

I just started the game few days ago, I'm obsessed. The layouts on the wiki and the information on the production chains is awesome.

However, I'm early in Artisian era and haven't ventured to the new world to maximaize the money i earn from Artisians. Now this wouldn't be an issue normally but the maintaince of the buildings producing sewing machines, windows, iron logs (forgot what they were called) have pretty high maintenance cost. Making my overall balance slightly negative.

Now i tried selling off the excess windows and iron using trade routes with Archibold but that doesn't seem to make a difference on my balance.

Am i doing something wrong? What is the best way to make money out of excess building material?

Keep in mind that i'm not over producing any needs or luxury goods

I’m yet to go to cape trelawny and the arctic, can Beryl’s last islands be there?

    Posted: 26 Aug 2020 02:46 PM PDT

I'm kinda new to the game and Beryl declared war on me. I destroyed all her islands in the only places I can access, which are old world and new world. I made sure she has no shares on my islands. However she is still in diplomacy. Can she be chilling in cape trelawny hidden or is there some island hidden somewhere I haven't seen?
