Statistics article on the Anno 1800 Wiki is ready!

It is a comprehensive explanation of what it can be used for and how to move around each tab of the statistics menu, what kind of data the menu contains etc.

I would like to thank Jinkha (from Annoverse Discord) for helping me with writing the article and for reviewing it.

Weird bug and/or change that I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere

    Posted: 23 Aug 2020 07:16 AM PDT

Hey, all. Just wondering about something: Okay, so all the neutral traders (Eli, Archibald, et cetera) have their usual buy orders in place and all, and when loading a game fresh, they are shown as the 'correct' (I assume?) prices. Then, after a refresh of their stocks over time or with the dice, the price spikes to 4x that. I can sell Archibald coal at 32g/unit, Eli 32g/potato, and 384g for a soap. Is that normal now? Is that some bizarre bug only making its appearance due to using the modloader .dll? I HAVE tested by disabling all my mods and loading a game up and it gives the same result, so I'm suspecting it's either something in the base game that's intended, a bug in the base game, or something in the mod loader itself that's inadvertently tweaking that buy rate value. Can anyone confirm that the prices are the same or different on your end?

    Royal Letter of Immunity?

    Posted: 22 Aug 2020 03:24 PM PDT

Recently started playing anno 1800 and finally got up to investors and also into war with the whole map. I have one ship with a white flag that never gets attacked but I had another ship with a Royal Letter of Immunity that did get attacked. How do those work? It was still active on my ship when it went down and I'm pretty sure there was time left on it. Thanks!
