I feel like we don't give Anno 2205 enough credit for how beautiful it is. I recently replayed older Annos thinking that it won't make much difference since I need to play 1800 in the lowest settings but I gotta say, besides remembering 1404 as beautiful, the graphics made a giant leap with 2205

    What's this?

    What's this?

Normally, harbour depot buildings are put with some tiles on land, the rest in the water. I now have one island where I was able to put one depot partially on land, but the others couldn't. They only go completely into the water (when I try to build them following the shore line, it says "needs free harbour area").

So, I just went along with it and thought I'd fill the empty space with a quay. I did, and apparently, there's a bunch of tiles that are "obstructed". I tried to delete whatever invisible thing is there, but to no avail. They remain unbuildable (and the reason why my depots couldn't be built.

At that very spot were sand mines, which I moved out of the way to build these depots.

Any solutions around to get rid of the broken tiles?

Spice it up: scrap convertion to rare scrap

    Posted: 07 Sep 2020 03:08 AM PDT

Is there any way to bulk up the conversion? Like instead of doing it piece by piece, we could do it for 50 scrap at once (be honest its rare that we use it for just a few)...

Same goes for the artic variant!

Question about Anno 1800 - Are the DLCs (and season pass 1&2) worth getting?

    Posted: 07 Sep 2020 06:23 AM PDT

I'm sure it has been asked many times before and I apologize for asking this question again. I have been just finished the campaign of Anno 1800 and I'm wondering if I should buy any DLCs or season pass for the game? Do they add much replayability to the game or new necessary contents? Or I would be fine just playing custom game or move on to other games?
