    Basic Battlecruiser Loadout

    Basic Battlecruiser Loadout

The top Google results for 'Anno 1800 battlecruiser' are people complaining about how useless they are. The trick is in their item slots; allowing their range, damage, and maneuverability to really shine.

Here's the basic loadout I went with and standardized across my BC task forces.

1x Lady Lu, the Redeemed Pirate

    +800 HP

    +200% Self-repair rate

Active Healing (Ship Heals Even During Combat)

    1x Captain Kadijah

    +20% Movement Speed

    +400% Self-repair rate

    1x Domin8r (Sunken Treasures DLC)

    +20% Damage Per Shot

    +40% Rate of Fire

    1x Reinforced Bulkheads

    +40% HP

    -25% Damage from Cannons

    -25% Damage from Big Betty

I've had better loadouts in other games, but the legendary ship officers are hard to find and RNG based. The three purple items in this loadout can be found at the pirate ports, Sir Archibald Blake's harbor, and Nate's harbor respectively. Three of these in a group can handle almost any threat a Hard AI will throw at it.

Is it worth to buy the Anno History Collection?

    Posted: 21 Sep 2020 04:02 AM PDT

Is it worth to buy the History Collection right now or is it not worth the money? As a kid i loved playing 1701 and 1404, so i think this will bring back some good memories. And anyone know about mods in the future of the game? Thanks:)

How to organise trade routes in the right way

    Posted: 21 Sep 2020 12:32 PM PDT

Assume that we have a trade route from New to Old World. There are three ships needed to transport cargo on this line. How to organize this trade route in the right way? 1. Easiest solution: create a trade route, put three ships and problem solved. That's true, but in the worst case all three ships will go together which means that there is need to store a lot of cargo on both islands. 2. One can micro manage and delay ships. In perfect scenario there is only need for storing space to fill / empty one ship. This solution is fine, but requires micro management and if you add new ship you need to rearrange delays. 3. You add fill up order. Ships are not going together, they spread up nicely, you don't worry when you add new ship in the trade route. But then there is a problem if you want to have two different trade routes starting on one island. Is there a way to solve this problem? If you add next pier then it may happen that two ships from one trade route will use both piers leaving no place for a ship from second trade route. Also two ships filling up in the same moment creates perturbation on the line. Is there a way to force trade route to use one specific pier or is there different solution to this problem?

    Diplomacy Achievements in Anno 1404

    Posted: 20 Sep 2020 05:58 PM PDT

So I've decided to go achievement hunting in Anno 1404. I'm having some issues with the quest-related Diplomacy achievements. Specifically, I was wondering if there was a better way to go about getting offered quests from the AI. I've got the Unofficial patch but it's still rather slow. Is there a better way than just sitting around waiting to get offered a quest, and hoping it's the one you want?
