Hello everyone, so what do you consider a must do order when starting a new game with AI on?

Some time ago I made a how to start video guide, but I was thinking about possible improvements to it. What would be your suggestions and tricks you have learned about the best possible start in a new game?

Like, which buildings or islands to focus on, what can be ignored and then done later on?

Or for example where to spend the starting funds and which items should be brought at the traders or should the player save up for something better later on.

    Things like that.

My original guide can be seen here, if you would like to see what you think I can improve on:

    75/75 timber?? Question about Storage

    Posted: 19 Sep 2020 03:38 PM PDT

Hey guys. Just started playing anno so this may be an easy one. I admit I have not played the "tutorial" campaign, sandbox is just more my bag. But I have watched many videos on game mechanics. My question is how do I store more goods? I can only store 75 of each good and I'm constantly getting the "storage full" icon from nearly all production buildings. I've constructed some harbors which are supposed to increase island storage, but to no avail. I understand I can set up trade routes to profit from over produced goods, but that's not the issue at hand. I'd like to be able to store much more of each good. Thanks in advance!
