Issue selecting units/buildings after switching regions. Posted: 27 Oct 2020 10:08 AM PDT Quite a few times I've encountered a bug where I can't select another unit or building. This happens after I switch regions (not sure if it's hotkey switching only). After I switch region and click a unit or a building and then try to select a different unit or building the previous selection will stay selected. Only by press ESC will it remove the selected unit or building and can I select a new unit or building. I have to restart the game entirely to resolive this issue. Posted: 26 Oct 2020 03:04 PM PDT I know that the Devs stated, that IF Season 3 would be planned, then it wouldnt be on the same scale as Season 1 and Seasons 2. But, I think I have a neat Idea for a small DLC. Harborlife: take a look at your Trading Post...at level 3 it looks like the middle-part of a larger builder...like a modular building. Thats right, my idea for a small DLC, would be a modular Harbor Building, similar to the palace, with fewer gameplay buffs. Currently, we are very limited to how our Harbor looks. Many buildings (Depots for an example) dont fit next to the Trading Post, past the 2nd tier, visually. I think the solution to this would be the following: At every tier (yes, even 1st tier). You can place modular upgrades at your Trading Post. Each one should cost 5 Influence, 10-20 Wood, 10 Bricks and maybe 5 Steel, so you wont use this in the early game, but could use it later on, on different island but with a tier 1 look. The module would be the following:
The Idea is, that with each Module, the Trading Post gets more useful and that, in the end, you have a harbor, that rivals the larger harbors of the AI-Traders. And also, I think it would be cool, if these Modules, would be available from the start, so that whenever you upgrade your Trading Post, all the Module would also upgrade (Only visual Upgrades) I think this would be a fitting smaller DLC, that could give us more visual customization for our harbors and would give us a small bonus for doing so. I hope that one of the Dev Team sees this and maybe mentions this in their next meeting (fingers crossed) Your thoughts? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 27 Oct 2020 09:34 AM PDT If you start a new game as soon as you get artisans you get inundated with you captain talking about charts on his desk. You instantly get requests to hit up the southern islands, the cape, and land of lions . Museums unlock, etc. It just seems like a lot to hit you all at once. Then once you get next tier you have the artic. It just seems like its a lot to take in now. But thats just my two cents. [link] [comments] | ||

Good strategies to win/survive against 3x *** AI? Posted: 27 Oct 2020 05:15 AM PDT Haven't played any of the DLC's yet, but had lots of troubles in the past getting wrecked by the hard AI's as they kinda cheat. I really suck at RTS and once reaching tier5, it really takes me ages to set up everything and establish new trade routes. Also I feel like having no time to go for good items and placing them properly. Is there an easy way to cheese my way through 3 hard AI's like rushing to Cape Trelawney, claiming all major islands and massively fortifying myself there? Would play with ez settings other than AI to eventually get into sandbox mode after beating them. I don't want to miss out on the sea battles and invading the old world. Haven't had much success with a diplomatic approach. Will going to the Arctic/Embesa help me or will it just add another map more to worry about getting swallowed by one of the NPC's?
