- It was a too long time ago we last played this 2-player scenario of Anno 1602 (large flat isaclands, one large ore and one large gold montain for each player). We gave it a rerun, with peaceful building in mind. Sitting at 6400 aristocats and looking for more resources :)

Uplay Rewards not unlocked in-game? Posted: 15 Nov 2020 08:53 AM PST Is anyone else having issues with the Uplay rewards being unlocked in-game? They've all be awarded in Uplay (I think they'd done this for everyone as they switch to Uplay connect) however none of the items are 'unlocked' or usable in the game. Tried restarting, updating, logging out/logging in, to try and get the game to realise they should be unlocked, however no luck. Anyone had the same issue and managed to find a fix? Looks like a pretty common issues amoungst of Uplay games. [link] [comments]

Posted: 15 Nov 2020 11:58 AM PST Hey modders. I've been fiddling around with items from Maug and Spice it Up and some other tiny ones. I have no experience of modding so don't know if this is possible, but is it impossible to mod to this game a similar concept 'lite' as the road anarchy mod in Cities skylines? What I mean with this is for example in Maug you have all these bits and pieces from the NPCs as ornaments but rarely can you use them because they are, after all, still gridlocked. So would it be impossible to make a mod that would allow one to place a decal underneath already placed ornament/building? [link] [comments]
Can't use Ubisoft Club rewards Posted: 15 Nov 2020 08:14 AM PST So i've got a new graphics card and started to play anno again. Now i see that i can't use ubisoft club rewards although they are unlocked. i've played a week ago on my old graphics card and didn't have any mods installed and i thought that i could use them. Does this has to do something with the mods? [link] [comments]
The Crown season 4 is out today! Posted: 15 Nov 2020 08:24 AM PST Every time I watch this show I get real motivated to fire up Anno 1800! Anyone else? [link] [comments]
Neglect propaganda side effect Posted: 15 Nov 2020 02:47 AM PST For late-game I guess that having -60% less consumption thanks to the propaganda is great. There are side effects like rioting investors and other residents. How to solve this problem? Using items in Town hall seems like a good solution but what exactly is needed? Having +happiness (but how much is enough assuming that all residents' needs are fulfilled)? What is the right way to address these situations? [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Nov 2020 01:40 AM PST One mod I would love to see one day, is a real sandbox mod. The in-game sandbox is basically the same as the campaign but without a goal. There are mods around that open up all buildings from the start, but you still need to go through the upgrading process. As needs change acoording to the number of houses in every tier, the production also changes. You can't build a nice harbour if you have it filled up with 10 fisheries, which after many hours of gameplay and upgrading will have become useless. As a real sandbox, it would be great to be able to place workers/artisan/engineers/investors houses directly, without going through the evolution. That way you can concentrate on building and planning. Of course the needs of all remain there (it wouldn't be a fun game otherwise lol), but this way you can limit the number of buildings that become useless in late game so they don't obstruct the planning. You would still need them, as for example you need farmers for grain to make bread for workers. You need workers to make steel. And so on. No tier is to be completely obsolete. Any thoughts on this? I realise that this would be taking away the soul of the game, but I was just thinking about beauty builders and how to help making Anno life less frustrating :) [link] [comments]

Research and Speed mod Request Posted: 14 Nov 2020 09:57 PM PST Hi, Can somebody make a mod so that any item with whatever rarity that gets donated for research gives 250,000 research points? Also, can someone make the fast forward button go 20x speed? Thanks! edit: A better way might be so that each research provides 10 or 100 of permits. [link] [comments]
