| Posted: 13 Nov 2020 03:47 AM PST In my whole 556h of gamplay I never noticed such a bad framerate as I am witnessing now. the moment I loaded up my save game I noticed performance seemed off when overlooking my main capital. Before it would take much more development of the island to take such a hit in performance, Right now Im barely around 12k total residents and the game is sluggish. Im pretty sure it was the patch as that's the only thing that changed between wednesday and thursday... anyone noticed preformance related changes with the patch? I guess I may have to fiddle with some settings to see if I can fix it, or even reinstall the game. [link] [comments] | ||

| [Mod Release] Fam's Enbesan Flora - 18 new plants and 4 new botanical garden sets for Land of Lions Posted: 12 Nov 2020 12:32 PM PST Nexus mod page: https://www.nexusmods.com/anno1800/mods/75 Preview image: Botanic Garden showing 4 new completed sets Hi all! Land of Lions released with new sets for the Zoo and the Museum, but without any new content for the Botanical Garden which was understandable but it left the garden looking a little empty. This mod is my attempt at fixing that, by adding in 4 new sets of plants (18 new items total) to the game -- available from traders and quests in Enbesa -- and to make them fit as closely as possible to official content without the set bonuses being overpowered. English and German translations are included currently (thankyou to schwubbe for German translation). I'm not a botanist, but I've tried to choose sets of plants that are native to eastern africa (Ethiopia and Eritrea which are the real-world versions of Enbesa) and based the sets on the different biomes within that region, except for one of the sets which is based more losely on interesting plants from southern africa/madagascar. All new items are custom-illustrated to be as similar as possible to the official game icons. This is the first release and my first mod so all feedback is appreciated! [link] [comments] | ||

I have translated the temple door (about the priests trading with the famrers), brought the translation to Ketema and now I have the optional quest 'the track of the oracle' where I can deliver other transcripts to the scholar at Kidusi Antoni. I have 'Transcript of Oracle's Etchings' that I got from the Temple in Waha Desher on my ship, but no matter how close, how often and under what angle I approach the harbour of Kidusi Antoni, I don't get a prompt to hand it in. Am I doing something wrong? Is this a bug? Have others experienced this? [link] [comments] | ||

So I calculated the amount with the Anno calculater, and for good measure built 3 more coffee productions then I would need. But I always run out of coffee. So I think its because of the long travel time. I already assigned two ships to the route. But can anyone explain, how I would reliably examine how many ships are needed, to secure the supply? | Posted: 12 Nov 2020 07:20 PM PST Hello all, I need to buy a new computer for work and was wondering how well it could run Anno 1800 (I can't afford a separate gaming computer). Here are the specs: Processor: Intel 10th Gen Core i7 RAM: 16GB Storage: 1TB Resolution: 4K GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 To be frank, I don't know much about computers, but the only thing that seems questionable to me is the GPU. But you need a lot of Investors to do it. This messes things up for me because I put Scholars on their own island separate from everyone with a commuter pool. So I'm curious how the Gramophone thing works for Scholars and if it's worth the effort to get my investor count up there. [link] [comments] | ||
