Do you learn about trade routes in the campaign?

I'm a new player that just hit chapter 3. Never played any Anno games before and the quests are learning me the ropes. But does the campaign at one point explain how to efficiently do a trade route? Or do I need to experiment with that myself? (which is more time consuming than ingame tutorial)

Boats No Water Trace

While playing the Anno 1404 history edition I noticed that boats have no water trace when I set the water quality on high or above, but the Anno 1404 Venice doesn't have this problem. Is there any way to solve it?

Performance on good Pc

Hello eveyone ,

I'm asking myself a few questions , i was lucky enough to get myself a nice setup .

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700KF CPU @ 3.80GHz 3.79 GHz

32 Ram

SSd Nvme and a nice 3080 Aorus on top of that .

I'm playing on 1080 .

So i'm trying anno to enjoy the rig , benchmark it and here comes quesitons :

On ultra settings on 1080 , after a clean 60 fps ; i sometimes drop down to 30 35 fps on very big city ( idle camera ) or with camera trying to capture large landscape on ground level . Same when you are moving , a bit of shuttering .

So there is absolutly no choking problem but i'm just asking myself if it"s correct , should my pc be able to run it better ? I'm trying to test if the rig is ok .

When checking usage : CPU is at max 50 % usage ; GPU is 5 % ( when it's not 1%... ) and memory is betwween 16/20 on 32g

Is it correct ? Is it coding or something's wrong with my comp ? Thanks in advance

Mods between games

I wonder if our talented modding community may be able to help with an idea. I use lots of the beautification mods in my games however sometimes I like to do just vanilla - no mods. When I load a modded game after this, the mods of course are not there and everything looks awful and sometimes more than one thing is out of wack.

Would it be possible for a mod that "remembers" the mods used for individual games and automatically loads the mods used in that particular game?
