I kinda hate how I feel about playing the game....

    Hey annoholics,

don´t stone me before reading the whole thing (please).

So, here is the thing. I love playing this game, I think it is easily the best iteration of anno we got so far and I mostly love what Ubisoft is doing with the new DLCs.

But with every new said DLCs I tend to start a new game, just to experience the new things, features and patched stuff and with the new season 3 stuff now being released I found myself just not wanting to click "start" button when I know I will have to put around 30 - 40 hours into the game before fully experiencing "the new stuff". It might just be the way I play (make a good base on 1st map, go to new world, make a good foundation there, go arctic, then enbesa, go for Trelawney map as last and make Crown falls great again) and yeah, I mostly build for realism/beauty, not so much for factorio-level effectivity.

Unfortunately I have never made a "template campaign" as some would call it, to just load, enable new DLC and play with that and I doubt playing with somebody else´s map would be satisfying.

Have some of you experienced that?

Is it realistic to search for an island with all the fertilities needed by artisans?

Evidently I will still need a few stuff from the new world, but I dream about finding a starting island with potatoes, grain, hops, red peppers, furs, clay and iron. Do you think that's possible?

Can you build multiple Iron Towers?

Or are you limited to one per profile?

    Outsourcing Production

Hey all, I built up some nice cities in the Old and New World and now moving onto Trelawney. I have the perk for +200 work force and wondering if I should build my farms and industry on a near by island. I have never tried this before as I viewed sourcing your economy as risky. I do want my Crown Falls to be an attractive tourist destination. Should I split my industry between an island and Crown Falls?

    Edit: Playing Anno 1800
