On unpowered warehouses and the amount you need. Posted: 23 Oct 2021 11:23 AM PDT On production buildings:A building has a productivity, and bonus items, that determine the total tons/minute. It also has an internal storage. If this storage is full it will stop producing. The storage can be emptied with carts. Each building has its own carts. A cart can carry a maximum of 4 tons and each ton can be a different item type. The amount of carts a building has depends on its productivity. For every started 100% a building receives one cart, so 0-100% 1 cart, 101-200% 2 carts, etc.. On carts:A cart, once filled up will travel to the warehouse and deliver its contents. The cart will travel back and eventually unload wares it loaded at the warehouse. What do warehouses offer?Warehouses receive wares from carts and load wares onto carts. A warehouse has a set amount of ramps, depending on its level. Each ramp needs 20 seconds to process a cart -> 3 carts per minute. Processing a cart means unloading and loading it. It will always take 20 seconds independant of the wares on the cart. Important variables:Internal Storage: The internal storage determines your maximum capacity for carts for farms such as wheat (2 tons). Having a bigger internal storage means you can use each cart more efficiently. Number of carts: The more carts you have, the easier it is to keep your internal storage clear. But also note, that having more carts could lead to each cart only transporting one ton. This would be inefficient, because warehouses do not care about tons loaded. Sending one 2-ton cart is more efficient than 2 1-ton carts. Number of ramps: This is the sum of all ramps over all warehouses. More is generally better, because the processing time is constant. Travel distance: You can add this to the processing time of 20 seconds from the warehouse. If the travel time is 20 seconds but it could be 0 you effectively halfed the amount of carts in the building. This is not necessarily a bad thing, because fewer carts leads to more tons per cart, leading to fewer carts in the warehouse. As long as the internal storage doesn't overflow. Productivity: More = better, pretty simple. The most important conlcusion to draw from this is, that you do not need to build more warehouses, just because all ramps are full and there are carts waiting. Carts that wait have a longer travel time, increasing their tons loaded etc.. What you need to make sure off, is that the internal storage doesn't overflow. For farms with 600% productivity this is next to impossible. There are mods that increase the internal storage. This information is mainly useful for the new world, where you do not have electricity, or for big farms in the old word, which can not utilise electricity. First build the farms with a rough calculation of how many warehouses/ramps you need and then remove them as much as possible without reducing productiviy. [link] [comments]

In Anno 1800 are wells still used for firefighting? Posted: 22 Oct 2021 07:56 PM PDT I placed some wells around the city, but people don't seem to use them to fill buckets for firefighting. [link] [comments]
Anno 1800 Complete Edition from Epic Games lacks from Season 3 and new DLCs. Posted: 22 Oct 2021 07:23 PM PDT I knew I made a mistake when I use Epic Games for buying Anno 1800 Complete Edition but I took my lesson. So, issue is, I bought complete edition of Anno 1800 on 2020. And now I decided to reinstall it because of new season and DLCs. But I can't see them when I try to play game. It tells me to buy new season etc. Any advises about this problem? When I bought complete edition I also bought possible future DLCs and seasons too. How can I solve this. Thank you kindly .
