Overwhelmed after first expedition Posted: 21 Nov 2021 11:09 AM PST I love Anno 1800. Especially the "starting out" part. I used to start a new save almost every time I played and just see how far I got and tried many different designs, map seeds, etc. I'd say I have the first 4-6 hrs of a game down very well. But one I got to a new world things got overwhelming fairly quickly. Plus this new place needed Irrigation everywhere and I really did not like that at all lol. Very hard to set anything up while you have irrigation lines with weird road building restrictions (such as not being able to make a "driveway" for a home over the irrigation). Any advice on taking on a new world? Or a maybe an easier expedition to start with? [link] [comments] |
Is income higher from skyscrapers, comparing to the original engineer/investors residences Posted: 21 Nov 2021 05:07 AM PST Just now I approached High Life DLC, and before building my 1-st skyscraper, I need to know, if new needs for skyscrapers are satisfied, will the income be higher from them, comparing to original investor residences? Because, as I know, Skyscrapers have maintenance cost, and at the start, before satisfying new needs, they will not make much money. But after those needs are fullfilled, what will be the income and does it make any sense to fully upgrade my investors houses to skyscrapers??? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 20 Nov 2021 06:48 PM PST Obviously Anno is full of references that are clearly one thing, but have a different name (ie. The Crown, La Corona as UK and Spain. I know that Anno 9 seems perfect for two anno's from now, but the museums have Empire of the Eagle and Gods of the Delta collections, which are very clearly Rome and Egypt. I think those names will come up again in the future. [link] [comments] |
