    Anno 1800 Quest for getting shipping license bugged?

    Hey folks,

    so I recently started anno 1800 and I think I stumbled upon a bug. I'm supposed to soon get my shipping license (campaign). This will trigger the quest to blow up the rocks for the iron mines. However, the questgiver is simply not coming forward. I have over 2.000 citizens so far and well waited for hours. Is this a common bug and what can I do? Start new and hope?

    I hope the next season uses goods that trade union items replace!

    Currently items such as fur, pearls, limestone(at least for me), goulash and gold bars are pretty much useless, at least to me who uses trade union items a lot. I know goulash is used in worlds fair but that's about it. I hope they make use of these goods! I'd love to supply fur to the new world from the arctic! :D

    How do the opponents and the taking over process work?

    Hello everyone, I'm a new player in my first session of the game Anno 1800. Now, I'm pretty much in the endgame (more than 5000 investors). I am planning to sooner or later wipe out my opponents. My game mode is "normal" with two easy and one medium opponent.

    The questions I have are: do these opponents get stronger independently of me? As a new player I took a lot of time and was very slow, so I fear they might become too strong. Also do they get indefinitely stronger or do they have a cap in the endgame?

    Also when I am taking over an island, do I need the necessary influence? What happens if I don't have it?

    VTuber with some Anno content!
