Posted: 09 Mar 2022 10:35 PM PST I haven't played the game for a week and it was working just fine before then. Now every time I start the game I get an out of memory error, with barely any new inputs to the game. I reduced the graphics and updated the drivers, but the memory error persists. If it helps, the only major change I made were the Pagefile size but I reverted that back to the system managed size. I have 16GB of system RAM and 8GB of GPU RAM. My population in this game isn't even huge (20k population) and I had run the game with 50k population on my old computer a few months earlier without any problems. The only difference between my 50k game and the current one is the addition of the "Vibrant Cities Pack" and this time I am not playing in Crown Falls. Anybody have those problems too recently? Stupid Question but can someone help me know how to switch over the camera to "W-A-S-D" ? Posted: 09 Mar 2022 08:50 PM PST I've been trying to understand how to swtich the camera controls from the Arrows to the WASD controls, but I can't find it or see where to look to change that. . . or if its possible?. I'd love your help if you have the time, thanks. [link] [comments]
Street traffic option missing? Posted: 09 Mar 2022 11:15 PM PST I just re-installed Anno 1800 after not playing for a year or so. I remember there being an option to reduce the amount of street traffic but I'm not seeing it anymore and google is not helping. Am I missing it or is it removed from the game? [link] [comments]
How does Anno 900 sound to you guys? Posted: 08 Mar 2022 11:59 PM PST Only recently joined this community so sorry if this is something already discussed. I had been thinking about years that could be Anno games and I came up with 900, because of course. And I doesn't leave me. A Viking age style game where you are a Scandinavian and use England to get resources, have to manage your diplomacy with the locals and can do raids in the style of the Anno 1800 expeditions. Thoughts? I mean in pop culture the medieval Scandinavians are known for their brutality but they were not just raiders but traders, settlers and diplomats. [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Mar 2022 06:17 AM PST So after 3 months with my new pc i was wondering, why the DDR4 Ram with 4.000mhz frequency showed only 2.060mhz in Taskmanager. After changing some timings and options in bios, it now shows 4.000mhz as it should. My fps got boosted by almost 50% from 48 to 72 fps in the same scene. Wow. [link] [comments]
Need Help With Space Management Posted: 09 Mar 2022 12:31 PM PST Hi there. I have recently returned to Anno 1800 after about a year of not playing, and started a new game. I bought the season 2 and 3 DLCs which I did not own before, and activated all the DLCs except the Sunken Treasures which I do not like much. Problem is, my main island is very small, and I am concerned whether I will be able to squeeze everything I want in there or not. There are around 700 artisans right now, and I have spent a lot of time to beautify the island, so restarting at a bigger island isn't a very good option right now. I am planning to move all the productions to another island as soon as possible, but late game buildings like the Palace, World's Fair and Investor Residences will still take up a lot of space. Are there any tips that you can give? Can I have DLC populations like the tourists and scholars on another island? Thanks for paying attention. [link] [comments]
Need help keeping up with large endgame trade routes/consumption Posted: 09 Mar 2022 02:02 PM PST I'm currently in a stage where I finished the World's Fair, Iron Tower and Skyline Tower in Old World. I have 2 support islands, one focused around industry and one mainly on beer and champagne. I also have 2 support islands in the New World for Coffee, Chocolate, Rum and Orchard stuff etc. I also have Enbesa for Scholar needs. I haven't developed Crown Falls or Arctic yet. I'm at trade rights with every faction. But honestly at this stage of the game I just seem to have completely lost any overview of what is happening. Any adjustments I do seem to throw other stuff out of whack and I cannot seem to find a right balance of what to do. I'm trying to support my population with Docklands, both the industry needs like Brass as well as consumer goods (mainly exporting Pocket Watches, Champagne and Beer) which does work but it feels like a band-aid when I'm just importing 400t of coffee...then again I've got almost 2 full reefers of coffee coming from New World all the time and it's still not enough for those addicts. I'm constantly dealing with shortages, mainly coffee, penny farthings and cabs. Just feels like I'm losing a grip and most of my play sessions end up spending tons of time trying to micromanage shortages and dealing with trade routes. Does anyone have any tips on how to go about this, what I should focus on? I've seen people with much bigger cities and I just can't wrap my head around how they deal with production and trade routes. [link] [comments]

Prevent ships from taking too many goods Posted: 09 Mar 2022 12:30 AM PST I had a question regarding trade routs: Is there a way to prevent my ships from taking too many goods from my island? And I know that you can have a minimum limits on your island that prevents ships from taking away too much, but the problem is that Morris and AI traders also are affected by this.
