How much Caoutchouc can you produce on one island?

How much Caoutchouc can you produce on one island?

There have been multiple analysis of the most optimal specialist combination to maximise the production of crops. I'm not going to focus on that here. I chose what is considered one of the most optimal combination for my production: Arborist, Horticulturalist Hermann and Miraculous Steel Plough. The Arborist might look weird, because she isn't that good, but she produces Tobacco as a bi-product and this is crucial for my economy.

I picked one of the five largest islands in the New World to serve as my source of Caoutchouc. It's the horseshoe (kinda) shaped one, you might be able to see it on the mini-map. There are no inhabitants on the island, because the tractors together with the plough reduce the necessary workforce to zero. So almost the entire land is covered with plantations. Here's a screenshot of a part of the island:

I had to move all the Clay Pits and Oil Fields, so they wouldn't stand in my way. Here they are on the tiny river islands:

Below are two screenshots of productivity, the first one with regular workhours and the other with the +50% bonus. I don't intend to use the latter, so I didn't leave any space for Police Stations. It might turn out to be a mistake later on, I'm not sure yet though.

As you can see thanks to the two specialists I produce not only a lot of Caoutchouc, but also substantial amount of Tobacco, Grapes and Potatos; all are being used elsewhere. Tobacco of course for the cigars, I don't have any plantations of that crop, I get it all as a bi-product, also from Coffee and Cocoa. Grapes are transported to the Old World to be turned into Cognac. Potatos are also transported to the OW and turned into Schnapps. I don't need the Schnapps, but I do need the Rum and Ethanol that are created as a bi-product.

I'm curious how much Caoutchouc other people managed to squeeze out of one island. Write your numbers in the comments.

    Small Church/Chapel?

    Posted: 10 Mar 2022 10:11 AM PST

I know there's plenty of mods to build bigger churches and cathedrals, but is there anything out there for a smaller church/chapel? Have I missed it? If not, any of the talented mod creators willing to give it a shot?

    Diagonal houses

Mod makers are great, they create lots of beautiful things. I liked very much especially diagonal houses mod. But i would like to buy an official diagonal houses pack created by the anno dev. Do we have a chance to get a diagonal house and roads pack in the future? last year they made "high life" dlc though there was just a skyscraper mod available. Give us a "DİAGONAL HOUSE"dlc please.

So is this really still exclusive to Epic Games?

I was gonna buy it on steam tonight but I found out it's still locked to that crappy storefront. Guess I'll be torrenting.
