How to solve problem of missing buildings after GU14 update Posted: 13 Apr 2022 02:57 PM PDT Hi all, Like many other mods users I experienced the issues with missing buildings after the last update for the active mods users. Here is the summary of what I done to solve it. a) First of all, of course, replace mods that already released updated versions on Nexus. For me this was done for some mods from SpiceItUp package, Jakob's Collection, and Industrialized Low Tier Production b) The issue with the missing marketplaces were resolved with this fix for City Ornaments 2 https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/9546398-city-ornaments-20/page-26#entry108074063 c) Missing Tea spicer, Tapestry Looms and Spice Farm in Enbessa were recovered after settings IsMainFactory values to 0 instead of 1 in Safari to Old Enbesa mod. Posted: 13 Apr 2022 02:44 AM PDT So the new update is out, and just as the previous one it comes with bugs. Now, I am not as pissed off as many others seem to be. I understand that hundreds and thousands of players getting the game and trying it out shows many more issues than what they can find before release. But, my issue is: Release dates. Who the hell keeps authorizing release dates right before holidays!? Previous was right before Christmas, now right before Easter. It might be they want people to enjoy and have access to the new shiny stuff when they have time off, but in effect it comes with bugs that won't be fixed because they have time off. So now my time off where I get to play the game is fucked. If you want us to enjoy it during holidays, drop it like a week or two before, so you have time to iron out the bugs as we go into holidays and we'll all be happy. [link] [comments] | ||

Suddenly unlocked all Achivements in new update Posted: 13 Apr 2022 01:07 AM PDT They said they fixed some achievements not triggering, but since the update my old save gives ALL achievements as already triggered even ones I didn't do (Complete sets, Anarchist stuff) They still appear as not completed in the launcher . I don't know if they will ever trigger now since they're already checked... Is it normal behavior for old saves after an update ? [link] [comments] | ||
How do i stop negative articles about new world people not having schnapps? Posted: 13 Apr 2022 09:54 AM PDT Have you figured out a way how to circumvent that bug yet? I havent built any hacienda housing on that island in the article, only the hacienda itself and farms. Does it help if i have 1 ton of schnapps on every NW island and thats it? Do i need to build one actual hacienda house and supply that one household with schnapps to make that article go away? For some islands, i dont want any people living there at all. My personal thoughts on the Seeds of Change DLC Posted: 13 Apr 2022 12:10 AM PDT Overall: It can save some of your space in the new world, but you have to work hard for it. Hacienda Farm: Let's take Caoutchouc as an example, normally it takes 216 tiles as farmland (172 if you're with -30% modules). In the contrast, Hacienda farm reduces it to 96 (76). However, the main building must be included in the equation, the original is 15 tiles (3*3 +2*3) and the hacienda is 30 tiles (6*4 + 2*3). Hacienda is still much more efficient (187:91), but one must recall that everyone is cheesing out with the union layout. This means you have to construct another union and make a new layout for it. Furthermore, this has to be inside of Hacienda which is not that large. Lots of things to consider before building. I like it. Hacienda Brewery: Besides from hot sauce and atole, I think it's better to import everything from the old world rather than make it in the new world. The new world is the bottleneck blocking population growth. The same goes for the spices. Enbessa has lots of free spaces and I think it's better to import spices from Enbessa. The rum distillery is smaller than the original but rum matters little and I think it's better to use the Hacienda radius as a farm and residence. Fertilizer: I decided to interpret it as a guano era and I was quite interested in this one. However, the production ratio is bugged. Worse, devs only acknowledged this information in German so only players who are eager to look at the community are able to get this information. So I think it's premature to talk about this yet. Edicts: I wish there was more specialization like the lumberjack mod rather than choosing among general good stuff. It's nice devs brought up the attractiveness in the new world though. Scenario: I just don't like the time-attack stuff. Would have liked it more if I could play it regardless of payday. [link] [comments] | ||

Scroll/pan not working after Seeds of Change/GU14 Posted: 13 Apr 2022 02:41 PM PDT After Seeds of Change/GU 14 i can no longer scrool the map with the arrow keys. However I can use the right mouse button to scroll the camera. I have also tried to rebind the keys for panning to the WASD keys but it is still not working. Yes, I have mods installed. Any ideas? I started playing the Eden Burning scenario and for some reason I cannot interact with every event island. I can scavenge the wrecks for example, but I cannot interact with the pile of bananas, with the fishing nets or with this interesting plant. Are there special requirements to interact with them? Just wondering though, normally most DLCs have a questline attached. I haven't seen anything like that for this (other than the scenario).
