Anno 1800 - Feature recommendation for NPCs

It can take a very long time to find the items you need from a NPC harbor during the late game. I'm currently sitting on over 500 million gold and will sometimes sit at a harbor re-rolling until each roll costs more than 1,000,000 gold to try to find the item I need (Eg, Feras).

It would be nice if we had a system similar to 1404's Honor which unlocked additional tiers of items. Except instead of unlocking tiers, since they're already gated behind the Early/mid/late/endgame pools, it would unlock additional slots!

EG, right now the NPCs stock 6 items at a time. For every level of Honor you unlock (Which might take reputation such as trades, diplomacy, or influence) you receive an additional 2 items per re-roll.

The interface already looks weird because of the number of items offered. Why are they selling 1.5 rows of items? Why not have two full rows of items selling 8? And the ship trading interface also looks like it was designed for 3 rows of items.

If this was implemented I would reduce the original offering to 4 items (one line). Then I would have a maximum of 6 levels which would end up having 4 full rows of items offered per re-roll.

    OR

A more complex system would be to have some kind of slider to indicate which types of items you want to see on the NPC. It could be a "Filter" button similar to what you see on the Notification or Maps windows. For each type of item you filter out, the re-roll price increases and the default restock time also increases.

For example, if I only want to find Museum items at Madame Kahina's harbor I would have to exclude Botanical, Ship, Harbor Master, Zoo, Trade Union, and Town Hall Items.

The base re-roll costs increments at 5,000. This could simply add 5,000 per re-roll per item type filtered out. So in my example I have filtered out 6 types of items and therefore each re-roll would increment at 35,000. This might even be incremented at a faster rate because late game there is no way to sink gold. I would still re-roll on a filtered pool even if each attempt incremented at 50k. I have 500,000,000 to spend and all the time in the world.
