    Tips from Experts to Beginners !!!

    Hi everyone ! I've just started playing Anno 1800. It's my first Anno game.(actually first city building strategy game) Im trying to learn some basics from here,websites and youtube etc. However, i still couldn't find a way to keep the balance stable and positive. It keeps changing rapidly(mostly in a negative way). Which steps should i follow ? Should i try to upgrade my workers as soon as possible or should i keep them happy as much as i can ? Or should i keep building lots of farmer house to gain population and money ? Or should i follow game directions such as "Build weaponery then build other buildings etc." And also there is calculating :( Awwwww this game is really complicated and wonderful at the same time.

    Does anyone else fund their entire campaign playthrough just with soap?

    In the campaign, Mr. Bleakworth at the Prison will buy unlimited amounts of soap from the player for $384 credits per ton of soap.

    This means that if you can produce enough soap to support it, a mere schooner fully loaded with soap can net you $38,400 credits per trip, which goes up to $76,800 credits per trip with a fully loaded clipper.

    Assuming you can produce 200 bars of soap in ~10 minutes (~10 soap factories, or 7 of them at +50% workload), you can make over three quarters of a million credits every hour.

    Just set that up and let it run for awhile while you do something else; and you'll have all the money you need to just go gangbusters the rest of the campaign.

    “The Confrontation” - campaign quest

    Mild spoilers possible:

    Hey, I'm at the part in the campaign where you come back from the new world with the proof of Edwards treason. It tells me to go to his lighthouse to confront him. But nothing I do there starts the next quest/completes the "go to lighthouse".

    I've seen that this quest was bugged many months back, with their team even confession to it. Some people suggested sending the boat used in the expedition for the proof/contract to harbors in the new & old world. I've even sent every boat to the harbors. Still no sign of proof, still stuck on this quest.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Anno 1800 bought from EPIC store not activating in INDIA

    Bought Anno 1800 from the Epic Store 2 days ago.

    I already linked my Uplay account with Epic. Confirmed that the region in both uplay and epic are the same i.e INDIA. For Anno 1800, I get "Ubisoft Login Required" and I had performed the same steps multiple times but it still remains the same. Also, I do not use any VPN.

    I get the following error PI-UBI-01 102008.

    Have raised tickets with both epic and ubisoft. Ubisoft asked for screenshots of epic library and epic account page to proceed, which were immediately provided, but no solution till date.

    Any work around or solution to this issue .?

    IA not expanding?

    I'm in a sandbox game with the 3 easy rivals and after some time, i'm starting to feel they have completely stuck.

    How much long does it takes to the easy AI to get to the new world? I reached the New World and build a little colony in there like 6 or 7 hours ago, and they still haven't sent a single boat to the new world nor Cape Trelawney, and not even asked to take an island (they only asked me once for an island in the Old World, and that was long ago), and i'm not sure if they have bugged or something and now are unable to expand, because i've never seen them to take that long before the update.
