You can use numpad to jump worlds Posted: 03 Jan 2020 05:39 AM PST I suppose most people knew this, but since I didn't notice this till well over 150 hours in this game I taught I would share it. I just recently found this out that your numpad is a shortcut to jump maps. 1 = old world 2 = new world 3 = Cape 4 = Atric [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Jan 2020 11:03 AM PST I was thinking and realized that all the Anno games are relatively modern. I feel like a game based at the height of the Roman Empire would be amazing. What do you think? [link] [comments]

Games like anno but without multiple islands/cities to manage? Posted: 03 Jan 2020 08:35 AM PST Anno is amazing but I prefer to focus on 1 city instead of focusing on many islands. Are there any games like that? [link] [comments]
News on any upcoming new ships in the future? Posted: 03 Jan 2020 12:03 PM PST I know a lot of people like the city building aspect without warfare etc. and that's fine. But I've always enjoyed teching to the endgame and having an all out war with the AI. After playing the new arctic expansion I can't help but feel like it was kind of repetitive for me after playing the Cape expansion. I finished it built gas...and that was that. I was hoping we would get some sort of new warships even if it was from the air :/ Anyone else feel this way? [link] [comments]
Any good sandbox play through series to watch? Posted: 03 Jan 2020 07:28 AM PST Hello, I am still learning Anno 1800, but have a pretty good grasp of it. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good sandbox play through series on YouTube or Twitch where the content creator can also give good advice on being efficient? Most of what I have found is from when the game was released many months ago. Is there anything newer out there that I am missing? I found a YouTuber names Raptor but he mostly just seems to wing it for entertainment purposes. Thanks Edit: I only speak english [link] [comments]
Where do i see how much money I'm making on my trade routes? Posted: 03 Jan 2020 02:11 AM PST I've set up one route with that prison island demanding infinite soap and bread. I've set it up so I'm sending them 5 of each on every trip but still on overview screen i can only see that it has been delivered but not how much money i get back from it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 09:23 AM PST Why is a fishery not connected to a harbor storage if u build it immediately next to it and they are physically connected? pls change it [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 08:05 AM PST Hello, Isabel Sarmento didnt give me a ship when i discovered the new world, anyone know how to get it? Playing with spiceitup [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 06:59 AM PST I am having some troubles using the Steam Shipyard and the AI shipyard from Spice it up. There is more vessel available than can be shown and I can't scroll down to see the rest... Anyone have any tips or know how to fix this? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 05:42 AM PST As post says, during campaing a rival Ai conquers an island of mine and automatically renames it Sechujalla. Then the game automatically closes. What in the world is this? I can't prevent this unless i don't let my island be conquered. It happens with any island in the New World. Has anyone ever experienced this? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 05:28 AM PST Hi, playing with SpiceItUp for the first time and i discovered the new world, and usually you get a ship with resoruces from isabel sarmento, but this time i didnt get it, where is the problem? [link] [comments]

What steps do you take to save a game that's gone wrong? Posted: 02 Jan 2020 03:54 PM PST I don't know why, but every time I get to around mid-Artisan tier, my income tanks, and I can't get out of the several thousands negative. I survive on trade (soap to prison, guns to Isabel, beer to pirates) and so I have a ton of money, but my income is stuck around -$2,500 per minute and won't rise back up. I've tried moving industry to other islands to save on royal taxes, upgrading residences (although this seems to be when the problem starts, going from worker to artisan), making sure they have all their luxuries as they unlock... but nothing seems to work. The maintenance from all the buildings I need in order to produce the stuff that these folks want so they'll pay tax are all more expensive than what the tax brings in, based on how much I have to build to support the gigantic workforce that's required. Like 50 workers for one slaughterhouse and I need four slaughterhouses, so that's 8 worker houses just for the sausage industry. Idk. Like, when you boot up a savegame and it's all fucked up, what are your initial actions to get things back on track? [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 10:53 PM PST As someone who has played a lot of Anno 1701, 1404 (+ the DLCs) and a little bit of 2070 (tried it but didn't like the futuristic setting after all) I have to say that I have not bought 1800 the main reason being the war system (or the lack of). I know that it isn't Total war and it has always been a side thing in Anno if at all but I always really liked war in the game as a whole. You don't even have land battles in this one and the naval battles have kind of an odd feeling.. if you take over an enemy island you either take some shares of the money or every building get's destroyed? What? What do you guys think? [link] [comments]
Anno 1800 graphics/engine for another future Anno? Posted: 02 Jan 2020 12:43 PM PST I tried to play Anno 2070 and I couldn't get myself to stick with it. Not after playing Anno 1800 with the build mechanics working much more intuitively and the other changes. Any chance on there bing a future Anno like say Anno 2100 but WITH the same engine/graphics Anno 1800 uses? [link] [comments] |
