    Anyone know what might be going on? She's barely giving me any money anymore for furs compared to my first loads. She will still accept furs to infinity so I don't understand this.

    I am quite new to Anno 1800. During my first play through, I found myself struggling with influence. I know population grows influence points. I have been growing my population amongst my about ten islands. But have been cutting back on influence invested areas.

    I am trying to maximize my routes with attempting to get maximum usage out of each route. I stopped charter routes since the cost five influence per/route. Also, I have been trying to make each island as independent as possible. I guess my question is what other techniques do you use to savor influence points? Is a museum or zoo worth it? I had a massive museum but removed it when I realized how much influence it consumed. A museum in exchange gives you a higher level of attraction for your city. Does the beauty of your city really have a purpose? What is the purpose of influence points? Can you turn it off in settings? Thank you for your time and possible response to any of these questions.

    Poor Beryl, She never saw it coming.

    It was down to her & I. It had been like that for some time with no problems. She easily had 3 to 1 islands on me. She had a a better military & economy score. So when I camped a bunch of ships in a few of her harbors & with out notice declared war, she was doomed. I took some islands that way & the rest I obtained by buying all the shares as quickly as possible, all within seconds of the next. Now I have all three worlds to myself. I let Anne hang around (to get some good trade items) but Pierre gets wasted quickly as I camped 10 ships in his harbor. I'm at 110,000 residents now. 1 Billion coins & a +600k income. 500,000 peeps are just around the corner.

    So far it doesn't say how many people are suppied by these, anyone knows a better site or when they'll get updated?
