Posted: 11 Feb 2020 11:11 AM PST The town hall specialist Pietro Jonah Proud provides the Bank need if you have electricity. But they don't work off each other. Apparently Pietro Jonah Proud provides a "different" kind of bank need that Mr. Garrick doesn't accept? Is this a bug or intended feature? Anyone else experienced this? It would be so good to provide 4 different needs with just one town hall and a gas/oil power plant. Is there a mod that solves this? Please help I planned my whole layout with this idea in mind and now it has collapsed. [link] [comments]
Buying goods and reputation question & charter route question. Posted: 11 Feb 2020 08:20 AM PST So I wanted to test out making an island and just buying most goods (mainly consumer goods) so I started a new game and set buy to any new consumer good that became available as my population grew. However even with buying set to max the goods were coming in very slowly. I eventually got 2 trade treaties with 2 of the AI and it seemed like then they started bringin in more goods. I then looked at my reputation and the 2 AI that I am trading with was maxxed at 100. So my question is when they trade goods to me and I buy them does that give me a constant plus reputation flowing in? Also 2nd question when making trade routes for whatever reason in the game I'm in now I don't see the charter route trade button. It's normally next to the trade route button but it's just not there. I found that odd. What's the reasoning for this? I coulda sworn I saw the option in another save I had. [link] [comments]
Does it seem like it's not worth it to do gas extraction? (Anno 1800) Posted: 11 Feb 2020 09:24 AM PST If one had to choose between getting Oil from the New World vs. Gas in the Arctic for electricity, it seems like it's way more trouble to get gas from the Arctic? I'm still new to the Arctic stuff so many I'm wrong? [link] [comments]
Play anno mutliplayer/co-op on plane Posted: 11 Feb 2020 03:45 AM PST I was wondering if it would be possible to play anno 1800 on a long flight (amsterdam - san francisco) with a friend in the seat next to me. There is Wifi on the plane and power sockets under the seat. Was wondering on bringing a switch but a local LAN won't be enough to play. Would it work bringing an apple airport or other router of some kind? Thanks in advance! if it works pictures will be uploaded! [link] [comments]
How long are you playing to a sandbox game? Posted: 11 Feb 2020 02:29 AM PST I know the sandbox mode is endless but I just wanted to know how long you're playing sandbox mode in average. Also, when do you stop playing? What are your final goals? [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Feb 2020 11:53 PM PST I love the Anno series and played all the games and was thinking of getting 1800 now that it had a while to get patched ;) But i was wondering if the Campaign is like in Anno 2070. There you kept all your buildings etc through the missions. If you settled an island in mission 1 you had the exact buildings in mission 2 etc. In Anno 1404 Campaign this wasn't the case and you always got a premade isle and i hated that. Do i keep the buildings/progress between the campaign missions in 1800? [link] [comments]
