It gets annoying when you have all zones and so many cities and you're trying to look for that 1 Printing Press

    Anno 1800 crashing at launch

    Posted: 03 Feb 2020 08:24 AM PST

Hey guys, so I wanted to start a new Anno 1800 session with a friend of mine and we both dont really get the game to start. (We played it a few months back with no problem) For him it doesnt start at all, it just goes into a black screen and then shows the "oh no something crashed" prompt. For me it works sometimes but then it just crashes in the menu.

Since the problem didnt exist for us in the past and we cant seem to find clues as to why this is happening, maybe some of you know more.

EDIT: It seems that if your account is locked to lvl 0 with 0xp the game wont start. Guess we will have to wait until Uplay works properly again..

EDIT 2: Seems that Ubisoft Club is undergoing maintenance right now. So thats maybe the reason why the account lvl is locked at 0 and stuff. Expected downtime is likely to be one more hour.

EDIT 3: Its now working again.

Once a Billion dollar mark is reached it should lock you in

You are still making money but it's capped so you don't get it, so why should it drop when you buy something?

Influence cost for full collection botanical garden/museum/zoo

    Posted: 03 Feb 2020 07:16 AM PST

So basically I set my goals at building a full collection for each of the modules and I was wondering how much Influence I need and how many investors would that be. A lot of my points also go on Trade Unions to keep up with the Production so I'm wondering when I can start focusing on a collection.

    Thank you.

    Questions about requested goods

    Posted: 03 Feb 2020 02:09 AM PST

I'm talking about the special goods that traders pay premium. Are those requests permanent? Can I set trade routes to deliver requested goods and still get the extra price? Or do I have to sell them manually? Lastly, is it a good idea to focus on producing those goods to earn money? Or is it not worth it?

Thank you to everyone who answers.

    Trade Union Item "Baker" removed?

    Posted: 03 Feb 2020 02:48 AM PST

I rerolled ca. 15 times, but still the Baker didnt show up at eli's warehouse. Is there any requirements for the item? Or did they removed the item from the game?

Ships using wrong slots in trade route?

    Posted: 02 Feb 2020 04:56 PM PST

Check out this image that describes the problem:

    https://i.imgur.com/L4tSVPl.png

Basically, my city is nearly full on sausages and my ship dumps a few sausages in then shifts the rest into slot #4, which then blocks furs/concrete from being loaded, this will continue until it's all sausages.

It's preventing me from being able to plot routes correctly. I'm considering just switching to 1 good per route and using schooners, but that'll be pretty inefficient. Am I doing something wrong?

For posterity, I searched and found this but it seems like it didn't impact everyone. https://www.reddit.com/r/anno/comments/bkjide/anno_1800_trade_routes_ships_fill_up/

    Anno 1404 bailiwick question

    Posted: 02 Feb 2020 04:55 PM PST

Hey guys, been wondering about it for a while, but haven't attempted yet.

With production chains, is it worth it to have all raw materials shipped to the main island and have all production buildings there, with a bailiwick to save on maintenance?

The upside I see is that would save a lot of maintenance afaik. The down side would be having to actually ship all the raw materials in, causing possible delays and more ships needed. Thank.
