Posted: 04 Feb 2020 04:25 AM PST This game is waaaaay more complicated than I thought, I love it. I also find it more enjoyable without AIs so I can focus on the city building aspect more. [link] [comments]

Why is there no fast forward in Multiplayer? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 08:30 AM PST Even the credits say that you should use fast forward, and there is no in multiplayer? [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Feb 2020 01:04 AM PST So on this layouts page http://www.annolayouts.de/index.htm?lang=en I can see source for all items, but it's obviously not showing all of them. I'm wondering if there is a page/app that can show the source of all items including museum, zoo etc. so I can know where to look for that last component from my Zoo collection for example. Are there any Mods to enable actual territorial conquest? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 08:31 PM PST This is my first Anno game, and I've only spent about 5-6 hours in the game so far, learning the mechanics and having a lot of fun with the city building and management. One of my first goals after getting comfortable with everything was to destroy the pirate home. It was very hard, and very fun! I added a few more ships to my still fairly strong navy, and declared war on one of my neighbors who had a vast city that didn't have much defenses at their port. After defeating the island, I could take control of the island, or take control of the shares. Both taking control of the island or seizing the island afterwards with your shares both completely destroy every last thing on the island and kill every last citizen. In my eyes this completely eliminates any reason to go to war with anybody, or ever try to take over another island. Is this not a game where you are trying to control an empire/govern a portion of one? The ENTIRE reason to capture another players thriving, bustling city is to have those resources for your own empire. To plant your flag at your new port. But instead there is literally no reward for winning an island battle. In fact, it's generally a loss depending on how many ships you lose. Total genocide shouldn't be the only option when taking over another island. I haven't played it since I found out this is how the game works. If there is not a mod out there that enables actual territorial conquest, then I am very disappointed to have spent money on this game. Any help finding a mod for this? [link] [comments]
