When preparing for an expedition, I would have a feature that let you filter the items/goods by expedition benefit (naval power, crafting, faith etc)

    Mini rant over.

Anno 1800 convert Singeplayer to Coop

    Posted: 02 Apr 2020 12:02 PM PDT

    Hello,

does anybody know how to convert a SP game into a MP Coop game? I tried copying the saves to the same folder as a coop game etc. but of course that didn't do the trickt. Through Google I didn't find a solution either. Is there any solution at all? That would be really neat, as I would love to share my SP game where I already spent dozens of hours.

Economies of scale would be nice to have.

Make it so when fields and factories connect that they get a slight bonus as to simulate cost reduction by mass production.

    Are the crashes fixed yet?

    Posted: 02 Apr 2020 06:54 AM PDT

Just asking because I'm working and looking forward to play tonight. Latest update makes it crash for a lot of people myself included. Did ubisoft fix it yet?

Edit: I can play again! Guess it's fixed then

Hidden/undocumented change? Public pier specialist popups no longer appear until you switch to the region where they have spawned

    Posted: 02 Apr 2020 02:01 AM PDT

I noticed i was in Arctic and when i switch back to Cape or the old world there'd be immediate popups of the public pier specialists. This never happened before. So it seems now you only get the popup once you switch to the corresponding region.

What this potentially means is that if you stay at a region for too long, you potentially miss out on specialists, since as soon as one has spawned, no more specialist would spawn from that public pier any more until you accepted/denied the current one.

Best palace policy from the welfare department?

    Posted: 02 Apr 2020 01:41 AM PDT

1 Arts Patronage Act +3 attractiveness for artisan and engineer residences (affects artisan residences and engineer residences in range of connected variety theatres)

2 City Wide Web Act +15 area of influence for power plants

3 Social Welfare Act +5 happiness from all public services (residents gain bonus happiness from market, pub, church, school, variety theatre, university, electricity, bank, and members club)

4 Late Licence Act 20% reduced need for all drinks (affects residences in range of connected pubs, variety theatres, and members clubs; residents consume 20% less schnapps, beer, rum, coffee, and champagne)

I don't know if 2 or 4 is better. 4 only reduces coffee consumption by 20% which is good but not that great. You can always just build 20% more coffee plantations and roasters. 2 gives more range for power plants which helps you cover the city with electricity and make city planning a little bit easier.

I plant to expand on crown falls. Currently have around 20k investors. And i built up all the gas mines in the arctic so i can build gas power plants.

1 sounds good too. It gives a lot of attractivness. And considering crown falls is my only island with artisans and engineers in Cape Trelawyney and i intend to keep it that way to simplify trade networks, i have to have artisans and engineers on it anyways for work force, so this policy definately helps and saves space for a cultural building like museum or zoo.

So which one do you think is a better policy?

What graphicssettings don't cost any performance loss?

    Posted: 02 Apr 2020 12:42 AM PDT

I don't have the best laptop I play with full HD with low settings. 45 bis 60 fps. It's fine to play for this big game.

My question is. Anyone have a site or tested it Already? Which settings don't cost any performance loss? What can I activate or make higher without loosing fps?

When I test it.. I would cost 5 days with the restarting thing for changes.. What is stupid

    Thank you!

I'm wondering how do you guys organize your ships to not get into enemy's harbor by mistake? Mainly i'm asking when you send your ship somewhere manually and he chooses to pass trough all enemy's harbours of course With trade ships it's clear since you can change their route in trading menu.
