Anno 1800 low fps with the most powerful system

Anno 1800 low fps with the most powerful system

    i7 9700k, Msi 2080 ti Gaming Z Trio, 32GB 3200 Mhz RAM with XMP, Windows 10

I don't know why all previous threads on this topic are archived as the issue has not yet been resolved and I am surprised that many people are content with 30, 50, 60fps on medium settings in 2020 with $2000 rigs. Mine goes down to 30fps in busy areas with ultra settings. No system tweaking tricks produce significant effect and there is no solution found in the forums. There is also issue where some lower settings gives worse results than higher. I did a ton of tweaking and testing so combination in the picture works best for me performance/quality balance wise. Feel free to share your system vs performance stats and anything that helps to squeeze out extra fps.

How to set a trade route with correct ratios on anno 1800

    Posted: 27 Jun 2020 06:42 AM PDT

    Hi Gamers!

So I did a trade route between two cities (A and B). I just wast want to pick 10 of iron from A to B. But if B is full, the boat will keep collecting 10, and will fill up the boat with that resource.

How can I say on the trade route to just pick up 10, and if already has it, to not pick more? The Shift while hitting accept did zero, did they patch that?

    Thank you! <3

Do flamethrowers deal less damage to steam ships?

    Posted: 27 Jun 2020 01:11 PM PDT

I've just built a bunch of Pyrphorian battlecruisers and they feel great melting down sailing ships, but struggle a lot with steam ones. Is there a sort of a penalty in dps when you're trying to fire up metal?

    Any mods for Eli's prison?

    Posted: 27 Jun 2020 11:12 AM PDT

Eli has some awesome buildings, watch towers, platforms, a cool looking market on his dock, etc It would be awesome if we could build prisons on our islands, similarly to the Archibald's castle mod.

Is this possible to mod? I have no modding experience but would gladly support someone's time for an Elis prison mod, and I'm sure other people would too!!

How do people do farm field placement in Anno 1800?

    Posted: 26 Jun 2020 10:30 PM PDT

I have seen videos where there isn't a single tile that is wasted on large portion of islands. Just every inch covered in farms. How do i go about it? Is there a video i could watch that shows how to do this? I am not a fan of box shaped unnatural looking farms. please help

Looking for people to play with/teach me

    Posted: 26 Jun 2020 09:01 PM PDT

HI, I'm pretty new to the anno series, only having got anno 1800 recently. I've been kinda guessing at how to play and just trying things out to see if they work. I'm hoping to find someone to play with and either learn with me or someone to teach me what to do haha. Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, wasn't sure where else to post it.

So I spent several hours putting this baby together. My first version of this(not posted) was too gray, so I redesigned the whole thing for it to be a bit greener. What do you guys think? A bit too green?

This is just the first part of my Crown Falls project. There's an Artisan Hill that can be seen in a few of those screenshots, but I'm not too happy with it so probably going to scrap and redo it. As you can see, the rest of my CF is still in the planning stage.
