Idea: Japanese DLC for Season 3 Posted: 03 Jul 2020 02:43 AM PDT I would love to see DLC for Anno 1800 based on Japan. The farming could be predominantly rice fields, timber industries would be based on housing and paper. There could be advanced fishing and different types of shipping for smaller and more compact islands. A samurai class that relies on elegant swords, bonsai plants and jade jewellery with Asian pirates to contend with. Then the icing on the cake could be that they include some DLC to acknowledge all the hard work that u/Takarazuka012 has put into the Anno games. Blue Byte should make Takarazuka012 an honorary member of the team. He has done heaps for this game community. [link] [comments]

Anyone else think Trade Unions cost too much influence? Posted: 03 Jul 2020 10:03 AM PDT I'd like to use them in many places but their cost in influence is so expensive I can barely utilize them. [link] [comments]

Late Game Epic Item Maximization? Posted: 03 Jul 2020 09:15 AM PDT I love seeing these incredible, max-efficiency, zero-worker, 10999% epic item boosted production layouts on this site, but I've never seemed able to pull one off in any of my games. Even adding in silos and tractors has been hard to fold into my usual modular, copy-paste production layouts. How do you go about setting those up? Do you just edit your pre-enhanced layout? Or do you build your uber-setup where you can and then remove your original production setup later? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jul 2020 12:14 PM PDT Anno 1800 should have a realistic AI mode where the AI doesn't cheat and plays like a normal human would depending on personality traits. That would be fun. Also when an island is taken over, it shouldn't empty out but just transfer ownership to new owner keeping everything intact and cancelling trade routes that the company had with that island for the previous owner. That would be wonderful. What does everyone think? Maybe a mod designer could design something for this? [link] [comments]

What game stage you were at when Royal ship of the line spawned? Posted: 03 Jul 2020 02:47 AM PDT Although many people think it's pure RNG, I think game stage is quite likely a prerequisite like with extravaganzas. You'll never get extravaganza at early stage. Anyone got the item to build it? If so, what it is called and where you got it from? [link] [comments]
Help, I got the imperial Pack without pre order Posted: 03 Jul 2020 02:16 AM PDT Im currently playing Anno 1800 with Mods an recently when i started a new world it said that i can change the skins, can i get banned now? Or should i write the Ubisoft Support? [link] [comments]
QoL feature: Single good routes Posted: 02 Jul 2020 01:58 PM PDT When you get to late game almost all your routes become single good routes, and its painful having to select the same good for all 6 slots, for each destination. I'd like to see a new trade route type, where it will load as many as possible of the selected good at pick up destinations, and unload as much as it can at unload destinations. I adore this game, but I always start to get overwhelmed by midgame. Posted: 02 Jul 2020 06:11 PM PDT Is this a common problem with anyone else? Once I get to the engineering level, managing different supply chains starts to make my head spin. Most trade routes tend to be a set it and forget it kind of situation, but there comes a point when I have so many routes going I start to lose my grasp on what needs to be done next. I'll admit I'm not a genius by any stretch, and it is still fun to try and push through the tangled web of supply and demand I've created, but I can't help but think there must be an easier way to manage all these different islands. I think if it was easier to buy and sell goods consistently I wouldn't have as much of a problem, it seems rare that npcs trade with me even though I have everything set to sell. It also isn't really clear how much of one good any given population needs, is there a quick and dirty formula for how many fisheries you need per farmer, for instance? This should be more clear in the game. I'm talking about Anno 1800 by the way, it's the first one I've really sunk my teeth into and I'm playing with all DLCs enabled. [link] [comments]
ANNO 1800 - Sudden Performance Drop Posted: 02 Jul 2020 09:33 PM PDT I've been playing this game for about 2 months now and have had no significant performance issues until recently. Last week I came back to my computer to find the windows task bar at the bottom of the desktop empty and that trying to navigate would cause windows to crash. This fixed itself after a reboot but since then ANNO has become unplayable. Namely, the game starts fine and loads to the main menu properly, but once I try to load a save game, the load screen is choppy, the load time is much longer than before, and the game stutters severely once it does load. To try and fix this I've so far tried: -Verifying game files -Checking for and installing windows updates -Clean install of graphics card drivers -Reducing graphic settings to low -Checking windows for corrupt files in command prompt and allowing to fix issues it found -Fresh install of audio drivers -Fresh install of UPlay and ANNO I'm not sure what else to do at this point so any suggestions would be appreciated. For reference I'm running an i7 4790k, GTX 980, and 8gb of RAM. Thanks! [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Jul 2020 08:02 PM PDT To the veterans who knows roughly the tempo of DLC release, do you estimate LoL release is within some weeks or within some months (like September or December?) Thinking of shelving Anno once I'm done with my current game until the DLC. [link] [comments] |
