Posted: 23 Jul 2020 07:33 AM PDT We talk a lot about peoples great works and beautiful cities. And for good reason. They make those if us who can't wanna try harder and get better. Plus they're beautiful as all heck. But today is like to open the floor. As I usually try to do. To all the times you've ever failed, been killed by the NPCs or just straight f'ed up. Could be minor, or major, or even have ending. But lets talk about it. [link] [comments]

[1800] How to sell surplus while maintaining max stock? Posted: 23 Jul 2020 06:34 AM PDT Hey all I know I can choose to sell above a specified stock limit, but I want to keep my stock full. So I tried clicking sell and just leaving the slider at max, but my production buildings are still halted since my storage is full. Is there a way to keep my stock at max but continue producing goods for sale? Thanks! Edit: I guess it would involve transporting goods directly from production to the harbor. Possible at all? Posted: 23 Jul 2020 02:01 AM PDT Just got it recently with all the dlc and I have a couple questions. I did look at some YouTube videos but the 5 or so I watched were...terrible. one went 3 minutes before talking about the topic...then never actually explained what I needed. Bad YT community for this game sadly, but this sub looks great. All help is appreciated!
Thanks ahead of time for tips! [link] [comments]
Where does Anno go after 1800? Not just era but gameplay wise. Posted: 22 Jul 2020 05:54 PM PDT Since covid started I have been able to play games like I was 16 again on summer vacation(32yo dad now). This has allowed me to dump immense hours in to games and lately Anno has been my drink of choice, not have playing it since first launch month I get something out of games like this that no other genre can replicate(Nothing better than a Monster, Podcast, and a game like this). With that said, it has become very clear some key things that 1800 has delivered that to me are now key features to the franchise that every title from now on must include or improve upon to maintain the level of quality 1800 has shown. First and foremost the item system is so deeply rich for a game of this genre that it really is the catalyst that makes it for me, its like taking the best aspects of say a WOW or looter and combing them with Simcity or a builder of your choice. To me there can be no regression in this system moving forward. Secondly, transmuting, this further improves upon the item system, but to me its a very infantile/primitive version of what it should be in the next one. This also provides a gameplay style and set of user made goals that matter durning a play through. Third and most satisfying to me is the Zoo, Museum, and Garden sets. Going forward with out a system like this will seem to me like a very large aspect of the game is missing, id even go as far as to say I base most of my gameplay off collecting these. Lastly for me is what I consider to be both the best but poorly planned aspect of Anno 1800 and that is the World Fair, this item should come early in the game, think of being able to have blah fairs at the phase 1 aspect of building it, as u progress u can phase up and dump ur resources in to it as quickly or as slowly as u choose, I feel like with it being end game u really dont get to use or appreciate those cool unique items that u get from it as much as u could early on. Going forward I know there are a ton of threads on Eras to expect for the next Anno, and I must say the most intriguing suggestions I have saw are polar opposites of each other. The first one being a SteamPunk or CyberPunk dystopian syfy setting, expeditions could be time travel or deep in to the earth... kind of writes its self, the second suggestion I like is Anno 2017, a current day take on what we do now, maybe its to close to 2070? But really id like to see 2070 redone with the TLC 1800 got with all of its advanced systems. What do you guys think? [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Jul 2020 08:34 PM PDT I am new to the Anno saga, as I see they are totally different from each other, I just want to play Anno 1800 and Anno 2205. But which one do you recommend to play first [link] [comments]
PC specs to run Anno 1800 in Full HD high/very-high settings 60-120fps? Posted: 22 Jul 2020 06:10 PM PDT What (bare minimum) pc specs should I go for to get 100+fps in high (ultra high if possible) fullHD settings in Anno 1800. I can't splurge a crazy $10k PC. I can go for a good x570 motherboard, ryzen 7, 32 gb ram, waiting for 3000 series graphics cards and AMD GPU rollout this oct/nov. Till then I'm planning to get a temp 6 month GPU card like an RX570ish. I do have a budget for a $1k GPU apart from this built for the speculated 3000 series GPUs. [link] [comments]
New to Anno, complete edition is on sale for ~$46. Is this the cheapest way to get everything? Posted: 22 Jul 2020 04:13 PM PDT Not overly familiar with how uPlay stuff works. I can get the complete edition for around 46 bucks, which to my knowledge contains nearly all the DLC for the game. Is this my best bet? I keep hearing about some uPlay+ thing, but I've already got enough subscription services going. Also, would you say that 1800 has improved with a year+ of updates and DLC, or degraded in quality? Games have the potential to go either way nowadays. [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Jul 2020 04:03 PM PDT So I own 1800 and 2070 and i'm wondering which one would you guys suggest first? does 1800 have features that you would miss if you played it before playing 2070? is 2070 harder to learn than 1800? I was thinking of saving 1800 until the all the dlc comes out for it. [link] [comments] |
