Posted: 22 Dec 2020 06:14 AM PST Question for the Anno-sphere. I am very familiar with the mechanics of the game, including production chain layouts and what not. But here the things... I can never build nice looking cities. I've used layouts like the 10x10, 9x9 but they always end up looking kinda tacky and not even near the level of what I see on this page. Does anyone have any layouts or ideas they use to build their cities? And when you do, do you plan out for future developments like trains and power plants or do you move everything around once you get to that stage. I'm not a very creative person but I've surprised myself once or twice. If anyone could provide some tips that would be hugely appreciated. Am starting to get frustrated at myself ahahaha. Cheers xx [link] [comments]
Small Feature Idea - for Future Update Posted: 22 Dec 2020 07:59 AM PST Cemeteries. I work in a very rural area in a historical part of the country and there are quite a few very old cemeteries around and thought that a Cemetery production tier would be a nice addition to Anno. People die. I picture the process to be: Granite Quarry Mine --> Headstone/Monument Maker --> Cemetry The cemetery would work like a Farm. Place the main Caretaker residence/building and then drag out the Cemetary plot area. Or like an Animal Farm where you place the building then add set area plots. As your population grows you would need to add more cemeteries to handle the dead. Deaths could be calculated by a % of population over time. Mortality rates could be adjusted by the population tier. The percentage of deaths per population would be higher in the Farmer tier and reduce over the tiers to finally be lowest in the Investor tier reflecting a realistic model that with more wealth comes better access to healthcare/living conditions. Thoughts? Anno Dev's what do you think? [link] [comments]
[Anno 1800] Possible to relocate multiple items at once? And can I change the museum buildings? Posted: 22 Dec 2020 05:03 AM PST Just as it says in the title. Is it possible to relocate more than one item at a time in 1800? I've tried dragging or using shift to select more than one object but it doesn't work. It becomes really tedious when moving large sections of the city, or if I decide to move my zoo or museum, which has lots of little decorative parts which all need to be moved. Also, I've started adding some items to my museum, and when I do, the building changes to either a domed room, or a cross shape one, but there's nothing I can do to change that (Shift V doesn't work on them). Is it just something I need to work with, or can I change how they look? Does the type of building it makes depend on the item inside? [link] [comments]

Posted: 22 Dec 2020 11:34 AM PST So I am currently playing Anno 1800. I have a 5700xt and a ryzen 5 3600 and 16gn ram. However, I only get 15 FPS on highest settings on 1080p. Anyone got an Idea why that could be the Case? [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 Dec 2020 05:15 PM PST Hello. I just started my first continuous game, and there is no Giacomo Garibaldi in the map. I'm playing the addon. Can this be because there are no AI in my game? [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 Dec 2020 12:50 PM PST Just wondering what specialists/items you folks prefer for your Town Halls in the housing developments of the New World, if any. There don't seem to be that many oriented specifically for New World housing developments. [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Dec 2020 03:40 PM PST 33000 attractiveness seems like a lot. Do I really have to get 660 Legendary Animals or Museum pieces? Or is there something Im not thinking of right now? [link] [comments]
1800: how to pay for commuter pier? Posted: 21 Dec 2020 01:14 PM PST New to anno. I feel like the commuter pier is prohibitively expensive. Am I missing something? -2000 to my income just to start using this feature and -1000 for every island I want to connect after that? How do I make enough money to make that work? I thought I was sitting well at +2000 on my balance but that just barely pays for the piers! [link] [comments]
does anno 1503 history have bug fixes? Posted: 21 Dec 2020 03:53 PM PST For example, the ones I can come up with right now: - Carts respawn when loading a game, losing all the resource sthey carry - Taverns resetting to 0 when loading a game - Wells stopping working after loading a game or after a drought - Natives selling/buying reversed goods The one I care the most is the wells thing, which is the most difficult to test.
