| Where can I get mods for Anno 1800? Posted: 28 Dec 2020 03:30 AM PST Sorry for the noob question, I've started to play recently and was reading a guide for beginners, on the comments someone mention that it was possible to get a mod that made it easier to get items (from what I understood you could buy then instead of having to go to expeditions), but they didn't mention where I could get it. The comment was a bit old so I thought it was easier to get an answer on where I could find these mods here. I didn't even know there were mods for this game before 😅 [link] [comments] | ||
| Is Gas Actually Worth The Effort? Posted: 27 Dec 2020 02:02 PM PST Hi, I've finally maxed out a gas arctic island and have 400 techs (26 houses) AND each has the trade union plug in that increases productivity 40%. I'm making about 5 tonnes of it per minute..... that's it. So if I were to do the same on all r I get 16-20. My question is basically is that really worth the headache of all the work it takes to get all those techs happy enough to supply a large enough workforce for such a small amount of gas considering I have 300+ tonnes of oil from the new world? (Caveat I'll concede is I use the mod to unlock all items at traders, I still pay for them fair and square but I am NOT grinding out all the expeditions etc I'd need to otherwise). Does it provide more power than oil so as to make it more than just the convenience of not laying down tracks? I don't really mind the tracks now that I know to expect them (messed my first play thought up though!) Just curious what yous all think [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 27 Dec 2020 04:42 PM PST I want to try and complete the sets in my zoo (no DLC), with the exception of the domestic animals one, and I'm doing not bad, but really struggling to get the epic ones. I know about the trick of leaving the expeditions undone so you can make sure you open the right region you need to get the animal and at the right difficulty level, but is there a list anywhere of which regions to find each animal in? I know they have a list of set animals on the fandom wiki page, but it doesn't tell you which region you find them in (as far as I can see anyway). Is there a list anywhere of where to get them so that I don't waste time in a region I don't need to go? If I catch another bloody Sperm Whale I won't be held responsible for my actions!! | Weird FPS dips when highlighting buildings etc. Posted: 27 Dec 2020 02:06 PM PST Hi all. Just got back into the game, but am now experiencing some weird FPS drop/bugs. Whenever I hover over the building menu, or trying to place a building, my FPS just tanks, and goes from 90+ to 20-30 making the entire game feel sluggish. As soon as I'm not hovering over anything, the game is back up to high FPS. This is on a 3700x and 1080TI. Never had this issue before, however, I just reinstalled my system.
