Can the Temple of Elam in Enbesa be restored? Posted: 29 Dec 2020 06:13 AM PST I finished the questline but the temple is still decrepit. Anyone managed to restore it? [link] [comments]
Late-game stage - What to do with extra farmers? Posted: 29 Dec 2020 06:06 AM PST I have 150k population (95k investors, 27k scholars) and due to town halls extra population, I have 7k farmers that are jobless. How can I capitalize on them? I don't have any farmer residencies to upgrade, and I also don't want a 2nd island before I grow my King Falls to the max. [link] [comments]
Which is the longest story dlc for Anno 1800? Posted: 29 Dec 2020 04:11 AM PST I've started playing the base game recently. I really enjoy the relaxed building experience and the game looks gorgeous. And while I know Anno is all about the sandbox game, I still enjoy having a little storyteller by my side. That's why I'm still at 98% campaign progression and postpone finishing it. I know I haven't touched on a lot of the endgame mechanics yet. Is there a campaign among the DLCs that lasts longer and takes me further into endgame? I think The Passage and Land of Lions are the main story DLCs, right? Is one of them clearly better/longer? Anything else you'd recommend for someone looking for a story mode or campaign? [1800] Gifting money to another player? Posted: 28 Dec 2020 01:13 PM PST I'm playing a coop game of Anno 1800 with my wife. As a more experienced player, I got off the ground pretty quickly and had a stable economy. My wife is having some trouble though and struggling to keep enough money to expand. It'd be great if I could gift her money or resources to help her out. For the NPC's I can gift them money to improve my reputation with them. With another player, there's no reputation so I understand why there's no gift option, but it's still pretty frustrating. Best I figure is I can ship her some goods and throw them overboard and then she can salvage the supplies with a ship. It's definitely not the best way of delivering her free supplies. It loses some of the goods, and they can be left behind if she's not able to pick them up quickly, and it doesn't work for money, only things you can load into a ship's cargo. Any other options for delivering her goods or money for free? [link] [comments]
Gods of the Delta overpowered? Posted: 28 Dec 2020 12:36 PM PST Don't get me wrong, I like getting bonuses, but I feel like +10 Influence for a Trade Union or Town Hall is a bit too much. Especially on Cape Tralawney where most of these buildings are on one island. For a mere price of 30 Influence you basically get the cost of TU and TH halfed. In my current game that's probably over 200 bonus Influence points and that number is only going to go up. The additional attractivness of TU & TH, and the attractiveness of the set itself is just an additional gain. It's even worth to build another museum on an island with 3 Trade Unions, because you get even Influence wise, but gain attractiveness. I feel like Gods of the Delta could be nerfed to give only +5 Influence and still be a no-brainer in every game. What do you think? [link] [comments]
[1800] How to make ships avoid enemy islands? Posted: 28 Dec 2020 03:24 PM PST So I just bought the game and I'm loving it. But I would appreciate it if my ships don't suicide into the enemy's coastal defenses when I send them out on an expedition or to another region. Is there some mechanic I'm missing or maybe a mod?
