I'm logged in at Amazon Prime, I'm logged in on Ubisoft Connect, my accounts are connected (as well as Twitch and Youtube), but I still don't see a download or redeem button in neither of them... Ubisoft Connect doesn't mention the pack at all, and the Anno 1800 page on Prime Gaming just shows a clickable picture of a train, a ship and an airship with gold details, but nothing happens when you click it. | Posted: 06 Apr 2021 06:02 AM PDT Way, WAY, too early in the game I've spread myself a little thin. I have 5 island in the Old World, only 3 actually do anything (I went land grabbing way too soon). I have 7 Islands in the New World, again 3 of them actually in use. Now I thought it was important to get some form of settlement on all islands. Is it bad that if an island is not producing anything of use to just remove all buildings (minus the trading post). Idk if there is a way to tell the finances for just one island? I also started Cape Trelawney which is just a mess. Is there any downfall to just having a trading post there and leaving it alone until I get my finances under control? Currently running $-4-6K, but I have a very efficient soap system and just sell soap when I need money. I'm also trying to limit the number of engineers so I don't have to provide power until I've fully developed the oil rich islands in the New World. Also, working on the steam engines, I export fish and pigs for (import) limestone (until I trade 1500t) to get brass option open. I'm 45hrs in on my current build and don't want to scrap it all, but rectifying all the previous errors sometimes gets a little daunting. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 05 Apr 2021 05:44 PM PDT I love 1800 but keep bouncing off the learning cliff. I played 2205 and 2070 extensively. (I appreciate the risks that 2205 took but prefer 2070) I never had trouble in 2070 expanding to tycoons for both races because I could handle blockading Hector and stomping the AI. But the combat in 1800 is micro heavy with the wind and broadsides and the split screen islands inevitably cause breakdowns for me. One important note -- this game isn't fun for me unless the islands are small and resources are scarce. I like solving that puzzle. But you've all heard this a million times. I inevitably try expanding to the new world and chartering rum back to boost my income, but it all goes to shit militarily for me. It becomes too stressful and i take a break from the series? Any suggestions? Or just go back to 2070? I never got my money's worth from the DLC ... [link] [comments] | ||
