    Season 3 DLC Question

    Posted: 24 Apr 2021 04:49 AM PDT

When I look at the season 3 dlc in game it says that the tourist dlc is locked, but I own it. The issue is that it wants me to buy the high life. I bought the season 3 pass when I click buy it takes me to a page that shows me it own it. I will this be a problem later and is anyone else having the same issue.

    Laptop performance

    Posted: 23 Apr 2021 10:34 PM PDT

    Hello everyone!

I'm waiting for my new laptop to arrive and thinking of buying the game. I played it before on my older laptop and performance was too far from anything acceptable. I've already seen some test on different graphic cards and processors on YouTube but none of them were made on laptops.

So my computer has Core-i7 10875H, RTX3070 and 16Gb of memory (I can add up to 64Gb). The question is will it run the game on high or ultra high graphics and how does it gonna feel in the late game? Did anyone have any experience yet? Or maybe someone has previous generation of laptops with RTX2070 or RTX2080 cards?

Cheats should be added to the game

    Posted: 24 Apr 2021 10:54 AM PDT

I enjoy cheats because they increase replayability. For example, you can play the game differently by using different cheats every game. Anno is a single player game and thus they can be added.

Same about map editor. We should have it to be able to create a map however we want.

    Union Subsidies Act not Working

    Posted: 23 Apr 2021 03:47 PM PDT

For my main production island, I have a local department with the "Union subsidies act" enabled to get one more item slot in my trade unions. However, I've come across this issue where it's greyed out even though I have over 22k attractiveness, far over the 6k minimum. It's worked before and occasionally fixes itself, but it's annoying to have to replace all the specialists every time it fixes itself. Is there a permanent way to fix this? I've already tried deselecting and reselecting Dept. of Labor and rebuilding the local department. Thanks for the help in advance.

Performance drop and audio problems as soon as I hover over something

    Posted: 23 Apr 2021 03:26 PM PDT

    Hello there,
maybe this already has been reported and maybe there is already a fix. If so, I'm sorry and would ask you to please point me to it.

Im not really far into the game (on my current playthrough), I'm still in the old world. But this happened on other playtroughs and on basically every step of the game.

As soon as I hover with my mouse over anything "unique" (like buildings, ships, etc., not when I hover over standard land or sea), my frames drop under 10, my audio (PC-wide, even on other applications) starts bugging out and video stutter. This also happens continuously when I have something selected (e.g. a ship, and it continuous even when I don't hover over something while having the ships selected).

To rule some things out from the start:
My PC-specs shouldn't be the problem. Temps, Core-utilization, RAM-utilization and even GPU-utilization are not (too) high.
My games and my other applications usually run on seperate audio devices (So I can control them independent from each other).
I really hope someone here has an idea, how to fix this.

    Thank you guys in advance.
    Cheers.

    Any performance increasing tips?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2021 01:28 PM PDT

I'm currently at a total pop of around 22k I think. Right now only the old world, new world, and cape are unlocked although I'm heading up to arctic as I write this.

Yet the lag in the game is getting worse and worse. There is a noticeable delay when I click something to when the menu opens compared to early game. Moving around the map is slow. Etc.

Specs are 32gb ram, ryzen 3900x, geforce 1070

I understand my gfx are on the older side so I put it down to the bottom graphics to hopefully improve performance but it didn't help. This doesn't appear to be a huge graphic intensive game anyway.

Are there any settings I can do to improve performance? Should I make sure x amount of ram is available? Or virtual ram?

I don't have this issue with any other game I play. My pc is fairly solid and I usually have even 40+ fps when my friends are complaining of 10-20 or so during big events in other games. Like valheim never slowed for me no matter how much I altered land or fought.

I assume this game is strongly cpu based but I'd think the 3900x could handle it with ease. So I'm stumped.

Any tips? Getting frustrating to play.

    Edit -

False alarm. I did a reboot on my system, made sure I had no chrome browser open, etc and it's smooth again. So it must have been something hogging my cpu. After loading back in, my cpu didn't really top 30%

    Question about arctic region (1800)

    Posted: 23 Apr 2021 06:11 PM PDT

After finishing the story line is there a reason to explore the northen side of the map anymore? I know you can find some scrap there and some Easter egg like Santa camp, but is that it? Would be weird to have like 1/3 of the map server no functionality at all.
